Wife's out of town and I've got kiddo duty, so I'm out for this one -- watching on my sofa. (Can we PLEASE get rid of these asinine kickoff times in coming seasons so my child -- who DOES love to go to Aztec games of all stripes when the time is reasonable -- can attend?) Anyway... Those who are there, throw in a little extra "oomph" for me on your cheers. This is one game I hate to miss.
No reason we don't beat these guys.

Sadly kickoff times are never going to change as long as the TV networks dictate when we play. |

For whoever the eventual champion is, it meant playing in five total games before this weekend was over. That's a little (read: a lot) over the top for a collection of 2nd graders. Somebody got a little over-exuberant with the scheduling. Everything in moderation. Except for FTs. No such thing as "moderation" when it comes to great free throw conversion. And defensive boards. Right, fellow Aztecs?? Btw, for my coaching efforts... I've never been some humbled for the amount of Thank You cards, etc, I got last night after the game. Got a little watery-eyed, I don't mind saying. |
