We are in real trouble now. Another TD and extra point and AF wins. This game should have been wrapped up, but our offense went cold and then the defense did as well. Momentum is 100% on Air Force's side now. If we go 3 and out they've got a great chance to win. The offensive play calling has been way too conservative. That's the issue. Too predictable. True |

No, it's a terrible win. We nearly collapsed. Well, we DID collapse, fortunately Air Force made a few mistakes at the end of the game that stopped them from winning. They had the momentum and our defense had collapsed in the 4th. The game was Air Force's to lose, and they lost it. They were in a great position to win (they could have run out the clock on a TD drive, which would win it), but they made a couple key mistakes and lost the game. Our defense didn't stop them on that last drive, Air Force stopped themselves through mistakes. This was a good win despite not having a good QB. You can't judge Johnson on this. It was a very conservative called game. He did what they asked of him. |

If we lose, this series was a huge part of the reason why. We dodged the bullet every game because of our OC....let Johnson prove himself like OT... Then you can go conservative if he loses it for you...instead our OC is the biggest ***** in the FBS. It’s not the OC |

They called a running play there? Unbelievable. 3rd and 6 when you're averaging about 4 yards a carry. That's just mind boggling. Play action would have been a much better call, with a go-ahead for Johnson to take off if no one's open right away. Instead, now we give the ball to a red hot Air Force offense. If we lose, it's a complete team loss. The defense has collapsed, the offense has one good drive all day long, and the coaching was mediocre at best. We had this game all but put away and we're now in a position to GIVE it away. Way to quit in your team |

Is there anything more offensive than the toxic, caustic, lunatic-fringe, ungrateful, unrealistic, lacking-perspective, team-demoralizing, chicken $hit fan base? Please cancel your seat purchase so I have a chance to improve my location. I wasn't able to listen to the game. But, before the game I thought that we would lose. I am amazed that we are 7 - 0. Air Force was favored. I'll happily take this. We all know that we need more offense. First time 7 - 0 since 1975? That was the year that I graduated from SDSU and I am now 70.  Ah, the 1975 season, the year before I graduated. A great year in Aztec football history, although it ended with a thud. We started out 8-0 that year and for the next game, Arizona rolled into town. They were also 8-0 and both teams were ranked in the top 15. It was a real nail-biter before a packed Mission Valley house. We lost in heartbreaking fashion at the very end. Then we went on to lose the next two games to Long Beach State and San Jose State. A promising season down the drain and no bowl game. Only the Aztecs. Sigh. |

Why is it most of our wins are of the, "Just barely escaped with a win," variety rather than a solid, definitive win? We had 4 blowout wins and three close wins, we ha e one of the best plus/minus in FBS. |

A win is a win, but true test will be Nevada and Fresno, where we will face offenses who will force our offense to score, and our OC is scared. Unlike AFA, which has a Top 15 defense, FSU and Nevada can’t play defense… every team has pluses and minuses… what matters is can you win the game amd State is 7-0… I don’t think either Nevada or Fresno are better than AFA… |

You really need to get yourself in check… the Aztecs defense dominates the game… AFA made a couple of plays amd got some favorable calls to get close… amd that is it… |

Remember guys, AF was given a touchdown by the refs. The receiver clearly had the ball knocked ouy of his hands. If that play was called right the game would not be as close!!

If we don't play A LOT better than this Fresno and Nevada will beat us. Boise might, too. I'm worried about this team getting a little too cocky and overconfident. Sometimes success can go to your head. Is there anything you don’t worry about? |

The reason why I disagree with that is we were up 20-0 in the 3rd quarter and almost lost this game. Air Force had our defense worn down, and if not for a couple key mistakes (including a stupid first down eliminating penalty) they had the momentum to march down the field and steal the game. We didn't lose. But we did collapse. From 20-0 to 20-14 and barely getting out with a win. Believe me, I'm glad we won - relieved. But it really looked like we were going to lose and that was really frustrating. The whole 4th quarter was frustrating. Bottom line. We should be very happen to get out of there with a win at their place. Period. However you needed to get the W, be happy about it. There's certain games that you throw out all the what if's, and this and that happened, and are simply very happy to get that W, and this is one of those games for sure. AF is difficult to beat no matter how you slice it. This… that AFA team went on the road and bullied BSU… great Win |
