Lucas was 11 for 13. Petty efficient. Didn't look like they gave him much to do other than short passes.

Johnson is not the answer, though he at least kept them in the game in the first half. He’s still better than Brookshire. I dont understand at all why the dont let him run it more though. He’s got wheels, unleash him! This is in no way a game to judge Johnson. He did what they asked of him, which is to be VERY conservative. Conservative play calling almost cost us the game though. |

What?? This is a good win over a very good team. No, it's a terrible win. We nearly collapsed. Well, we DID collapse, fortunately Air Force made a few mistakes at the end of the game that stopped them from winning. They had the momentum and our defense had collapsed in the 4th. The game was Air Force's to lose, and they lost it. They were in a great position to win (they could have run out the clock on a TD drive, which would win it), but they made a couple key mistakes and lost the game. Our defense didn't stop them on that last drive, Air Force stopped themselves through mistakes. Waaaah, waaah. We didn't beat a favorite by four scores at altitude after our D ran out of gas at the end of a tough game. Going to delete this reply too??? Mod's note - personal insults have always been against forum rules. They WILL be deleted and repeated offenses will result in disciplinary action. Just don't go there. |

Johnson is not the answer, though he at least kept them in the game in the first half. his play looks like a lower level high school player, he has not progressed as a football player, should be better for being in D1 systems for over 6 years now, just a fact You can't judge Johnson on this game. He did what they asked of him. Be conservative and be a game manager. He has proven that he can make the big play, but they wouldn't unleash him at all. |

Thank god style points aren’t a major contributing factor in our program success.
But thrilled to win this game. Our D is legit And if we can just work a QB into the picture for some play action, we golden.

If we don't play A LOT better than this Fresno and Nevada will beat us. Boise might, too.
I'm worried about this team getting a little too cocky and overconfident. Sometimes success can go to your head.

I thought it was really crummy that when we were taking knee at the end their D lime was diving at the center trying to cause a fumble. Poor sportsmanship!

Most teams have thousands more than we do. San diego is a pathetic fan base for its teams so any interest is good interest. However, some of us want a sdsu bball moment where we finally break through, but our OC is holding us back, again! The only thing toxic is our lack of greatness. |
