His 'porn name' couldn't possibly be any better than his real name.

I am good getting a big sized tall QB. Hopefully someone who has seen him play can give us their thoughts on this kid. Scripts team tends to have good players.

“I have been receiving interest from Stanford, Cal Berkeley, University of Colorado, SDSU, Nevada, and most of the Ivy League schools,” Leatherwood said. “No offers yet, but hopefully soon!”

Let’s get him his first offer and get a Dan McGuire type QB for once.

Good name and got the "Hollywood" look. I didn't know we were going to recruit "Pro style QBs" anymore but if he fits our system go for it !

Good name and got the "Hollywood" look. I didn't know we were going to recruit "Pro style QBs" anymore but if he fits our system go for it ! All we have to do is get one like him, and then watch the WR's start lining up to come to our school. And, he has a great football name. I can see it now when he throws a long pass they would say: "An he is JAX-ing it up!" Or talking about his toughness: "He is tough as LEATHERWOOD!"

A photo of him in an Aztec uniform, with the current Aztec helmet in one of his hands, and a wooden club in the other, and and him, wearing an old leather helmet.

I watched him play tonight. Total control of the offense - much like Tom Brady barking at his guys for running the wrong route but patting them after in a "next time let's do this" kinda way.
His Dad worked in the Chargers front office (still might.)

So Dunksalot would he be an asset in an Aztecs uniform? Gives us your thoughts on his performance. Arm strength, passing accuracy, how does the ball come out of his hand and his leadership. Did he command and earn the respect from his teammates? Any concerns? Example not comfortable in the pocket, locks in on one receiver, doesn’t throw to his TE, etc.

Morse couldn't put up a heavy rush but when they did he was calm and hit the target perfectly. He did overshoot a few passes that would be a problem at the next level. His team listened well - super impressed with his leadership. He was great at setting up the screen and other counter type plays.
The only concern would be his mobility. But there wasn't much of need since the pocket did well protecting him and he released quickly enough to hit the open receiver.
This would be our best QB in a very long time.

Better or worse than Brookshire?

SDSU has some great Scripps Ranch HS connections. Marlon Gardinera is the head coach at Scripps Ranch High and he proudly announced (a couple months ago) his son Nick is staying home to play for SDSU. He was a class of 2020 grad but I don't see him on the SDSU roster yet (more info in the KUSI and Twitter links below). This year, Leatherwood is regularly handing the ball off to senior Jalen Shaw, whose older brother Mekhi is a redshirt freshman for SDSU (and recently earned a start). Noah Gardinera is coach's Sophomore son, who is already one of the top class of '24 safeties in San Diego and should also expect to get some hand offs at running back next year. www.kusi.com/scripps-ranch-hs-star-nick-gardinera-discusses-transition-to-sdsu-football/twitter.com/ngardinera
