Looks like we will be screwed again tv wise....The Akron / Buffalo game televised before our game is starting way late. We are likely not going to see a lot of the 1st half......Hope I’m wrong.... Is either team MM material? I think they might break away if it's lopsided. |

It is very difficult to beat a good team 3X's in one season. Remember the Kawhi team Jimmer and the bywho series. They crushed us in the regular season only for us to turn around and crush them in the MGC tournament final. This urban myth is repeated over and over by every sportscaster in every sport every year. Yet numerous studies have been done in both football and basketball and every one of them say that's just plain WRONG. The following is from a study done with D1 basketball teams: "According to STATS LLC., there have been 981 similar matchups across Division I college basketball over the past 10 seasons. The teams entering the third game 2-0 are a combined 710-271 (.724 winning percentage) in the third meeting."

But, cbssports has occasionally started putting the other game online until the previous is finished. Hopefully we’ll at least get that. |

However I’ve never understood why they couldn’t at least switch over in the broadcast markets of the two teams playing. |

I guess if you're affiliated with one of those two schools, the game might be important, but I don't even know what league these teams play in. I guess the winner will be a high seed auto qualifier …
No matter, this puts tip off at about the "right time" for Aztec Basketball circadian rhythms.
