After these first two tilts, the Aztecs are the Kings of winning ugly games. Going to win 3 in a row and hoist the trophy today!
I actually think we have played very well in both games. The only thing we did poorly yesterday was shoot fts. If we shoot our normal %, it is a 15 point win. Against Wyoming, I thought we played very well. Wyoming played almost a perfect game and probably deserved to win. If you look at our numbers in both games, we are shooting well, defending well and not turning the ball over.
Our main deficiency is that Nathan looks lost. I don't know if he is not doing well physically, or maybe he is not doing well emotionally, but he is getting pushed around by guys he would normally dominate. But i still want him in the game. His presence in the key helps our defense tremendously and maybe he will get it going for the tourney.
