These refs better be at least demoted. what's lower than they are? church league, jr high basketball? Something like that, but at least never ref a tournament game again. |

Dutch needs to pull Mensah aside and show him tape of his game against Iowa. Nathan owned Luke Garza future NBA first round draft pick. He needs a confidence boost

Sucks to be the winner of the next game and having to face the Aztecs tomorrow.
By the time their game is over, they get back to their hotel, and wind down it'll be close to 3AM. While kids that age are used to being up that late, they're not used to having to be up at the crack of dawn for Covid testing, and that's what's going to happen to them before they even get a few hours of shuteye.

Early in the second half I was thinking I'd be coming on here to defend the officials because replays showed most of their calls were correct. Our bigs were constantly late on defense and were playing horribly. But, wow, the officiating the rest of the game was horrible. We were being called for touch fouls and at the same time Nevada was mugging us and not getting called. Insane.
They were like cops who continue to write a traffic ticket while someone is getting murdered nearby.

We are really going to need more out of Mensah and Tomaic, no matter who we play tomorrow. Mensah had 0 points tonight, following his 1 pt last night. Tomaic did not score in either game..

Very satisfying win for the boys....
What seemed to be a weak part of our team (point guard play) at the beginning of the season has turned into a leading strength.....
Credit Trey Pulliam for continuing to exert confidence in the first team and his backup Lamont Butler for being a beast off the bench....
Nevada had no answer for Butler...He'd blow by his guy and could attack the basket at will...
