I knew this circus was going to take weeks to resolve itself. No way in hell does a candidate like Biden get more votes than Obama ever did. That is asking for some serious suspension of disbelief. The Dems hacked the vote count, there is no question about it. It’s going to come down to if they covered their tracks well enough to get away with it. Of course in their minds it is completely justified, the “evil Hitler” Trump must be defeated by ANY MEANS NECESSARY in their minds, so of course they rigged things. Why not? The media will cover for them. This will be the death of MSNBC and CNN btw, and maybe Fox. The public is going to just shut their crap off. CNN is already for sale. The clock is ticking for the Trump legal team. We shall see if they can put together a winning case. The only suspension of belief required is how awful they are at "rigging" the Senate race....which is kind of important, even after winning the presidency. Mind-boggling how people don't understand basic statistics. More mail-in ballots because of the pandemic, plus greater in-person voting turnout equals, shockingly, more votes. Trump received more votes than Obama did, too. Trump gained over a million new votes in Texas alone. They have no basis for a winning case, being unable to prove any kind of systemic fraud (most of the lawsuits aren't even challenging votes) and cannot even understand 4th grade geography, so I'm gonna go out on a massive limb and say... Claim : Astronomical turnouts in battleground cities/states....I'm not sure I would call it astronomical, but voting turnout aided BOTH sides and is not evidence of fraud of any kind. Only three counties in Michigan flipped. Only three counties in Ohio flipped. The behavior was very similar to 2016 in the battleground areas, with some slight suburban blue leanings and some rural gains for the incumbent. Claim : Biden's overperformance to his contemporaries only in battleground states. False. Biden improved his margin of victory in 31 of 36 urban counties sampled. He won in the surrounding suburbs and actually underperformed in Milwaukee, relative to Clinton. Problem for you is my bubble is bigger than the one you obviously live in. In your group of friends there are 2% who are Trump voters. In the larger bubble of the nation there are 47.2% who are Trump voters. 2% vs 47.2%! Your bubble of friends is not representative of the environment and that you have assembled such a biased, unrepresentative group speaks significantly of your personal intolerance for people different than you. Highly educated leftists have no problem telling the world their political views. Highly educated conservatives keep their mouths shut in mixed or unknown company for fear of repercussion. That is why polling no longer works. The "shy Trump voter" is a group largely made up of college-educated conservatives. I found it interesting The Atlantic stripped out all the dates from Obama's supposed help in transition. Obama told his staff to start coordinating with Trump staff in January. A sizable chunk of Obama's staff was acting as if Trump was a Russian asset and are on record debating how much to keep secret from his people even in the final days. There is no comparison in how helpful Trump is being as compared to how much Trump was stonewalled by Obama in the transition. The punk and metal scene has a ton as the modern left is about conformity. Among that last bunch who all seem to exist to give conformity the middle finger, I can give you very famous examples from the 70's all the way to today. One in particular that you may not be familiar with are the Conservative Libertarian 'Avenged Sevenfold' from, what was bleeding red before ballot harvesting become legal, Orange County. Joe Perry lists one of his 2 favorite presidents as John F. Kennedy. Sounds moderate, leaning right to me. Go back to Steve Bannon, trump, Roger Stone and the rest. |
