After Biden wins and the Democrats take over the Senate, I hope they add multiple justices. There is no reason for that spot to sit open. Even if Trump and the Senate get walloped in the next election, they still have their seats until January. It shouldn't take more than a week to get Amy Coney Barrett through the Senate. |

It would be spineless to do nothing out of fear of what violence the left will dish out. No, you, sir, are spineless. Just like Mitch McConnell is spineless. There is no norm you don't care to uphold, no rule you won't break. McConnell held up Merrick Garland because he's an unethical, corrupt, spineless coward. This has nothing to do with the political unrest or the thought of. It has everything to do with McConnell's own words and historical precedent. He's been blocking relief aid to ordinary people, but rammed through 6 judges in 30 hours this week to lifetime appointments. He has no moral backbone, no ability to do the right thing and the future of this country will suffer as a result if he betrays his own ideals. |
