If im able to get the computer specs in place i do plan on automating a download for these pictures and making monthly timelapses of the progress! If someone has already set something up for this please let me know but in the mean time I'll try to work it out!

Nobody could spend an extra $200 and get a regular camera to live stream?

Remember these are the same people that are unable to bring us the questions and comments being made during the post game reports, going back YEARS! Not being negative, just pointing out facts! (don't flame me on this one)

(don't flame me on this one) It’s these kinds of things that get me so angry with State. This should be something that without question should be made available like basketball. It literally makes me want to ask for my season ticket money back and let them know they can have it back once the camera is up and running. So frustrating and so simple. Keep people excited and want to stay up to date. So many positive things by having a camera like this. Ok, enough beetching from me.

Wasn't the JAM center construction on a live feed? Or was that the contractor that supplied that webcam? This is a very cheap ass move by State, unless just an oversight, which might actually be worse considered the scale and magnitude of this project.

Maybe when they actually start constructing the stadium, the camera will be actually live. Nothing all that exciting right now.

FFS people, a new stadium is being built! Our dreams will be coming true in a couple of years when many of you didn't think it would happen within a decade...or at all. Now you bitch about "bush league" because a construction cam isn't in place for your fancy? Some folks here REALLY need to have an Aztecarita and chill the F out.

Don't know about you, but if I get 1 picture a week I'm good. There's no way in heck I'd spend time watching a live cam. I'm more interested in the Experience Center than any camera focused on dirt & machinery.

The point is, if you are going to announce a live construction cam, follow through and put a damn live cam in place. Not a picture every 15 min. That’s 20 year old tech! I don’t know where you could even find a camera like that these days.

However, it was my impression a live feed would be available and it is pretty cool to check on the progress in between calls and meetings. It is exciting to see dirt moving, equipment working, the bowl being created, etc. To your point, a snap shot taken every 15 minutes is fine but we live in a world of real time and it would be pretty cool to have these live feeds. I was being somewhat sarcastic but I did like checking in on the JAM center. Now I only have to set my timer for every 15 minutes. 😁

Don't judge.

My guess is a construction cam would be in place when some actual stadium construction starts. In the meantime, occasional photos should suffice. I mean who wants to watch video of dirt just being pushed around.

JD Wicker just said on 1360 that the cam now is refreshed every 15 minutes and when the concrete starts to be poured they will go live.

"concrete is not poured, it is placed" name the sdsu instructor? also-Concrete truck, NOT cement truck!
