I'm already curious just to see what they did on Day One! You may have just started what might go down as the longest thread in Aztec Mesa history. We have a few years to add to this thread. Any guesses on how many pages? Oh man it could be yuge. 😁

Well, we got some work to do on this one. I stay away from the political page on here. Too divisive and appalling to see some of the rhetoric people post. I say let this page grow and put our efforts and energy into this historic moment. Time to leave the politics alone and remember we are all Aztecs!

Drove but the site today, and maybe I wasn’t looking in the right areas, but I saw very little activity. Of course it was tough to see driving fast there on Friars. Anybody else?

Its going to take time for a project of this size to ramp up, you dont just show up with 100 guys with shovels and sledge hammers and start effing stuff up haha. Will be a couple weeks of BMP's being installed and utility safe off before any sort of demo takes place on site.

There are going to be so many companies involved. Heck, I should reach out and see if I can get a small piece of the very big pie.

Drove by today and there is equipment onsite, backhoe working, weeds removed, construction fence on perimeter. Looks like they r hitting the ground running. Bet it looks like a construction site and asphalt removal starting next week?

Once the leaf blowers are brought in, then I'll know that they really mean business.

I still get giddy just thinking about this and look forward to seeing the concrete getting poured and steel going up.

Asphalt is already being removed from the inner ring of parking, south of the ramp that goes under the stadium.

I went back there Friday and it’s not much to look at yet. If the cam is up by the end of the month we’re good.
