So I just popped into the live feed from the end zone cam to see what was up. Are those four sections at the middle level what the big crane has been hoisting up? They look like what I assume is "pre-cast concrete". The big crane is, indeed, currently sitting idle -- but you could see that those big sections might be something it would want to haul up to the upper levels. They have loaded up many pieces on about 4 different levels or platforms areas, look around at all the concrete on the bleachers to the left of the crane as compared to the right of the crane. To the right of the crane you can see more steel exposed that will soon be covered with Pre-Cast sections soon. Yeah, that's the area I'm looking at. So those would be the pre-cast sections to the left of the crane, then, on the mid level.

It's just a bunch of smaller sections put together to form bigger sections. ***EDIT maybe not flying that section, at time of writing they had 7 or8 guys around it now they have 2 or 3 guys still working on it, so who knows. Still fun to watch from time to time, still can not believe this thing is getting built.

I missed that one, but it's 12:45 now and it looks like they are tying up something around the 50 yard line to hoist up -- so that's giving me a better idea of what I'm looking at.

Btw... It's interesting watching the shadows play out on this early afternoon, figuring some kickoffs are bound to occur at different times of the afternoon in the coming years.
I've actually backed away from my earlier seat preference and shifted it about 90 degrees.

Here is some updated, short drone video from the stadium. It shows the precast sections going up on the westside, top deck. It is cool how this is coming together.
Brief Video from this weekend

Yeah, I've got split-screen going on right now on my computer. Waiting for them to hoist that one long section currently sitting on the ground. I have yet to see them hoist a section live. Just keep missing it somehow!
I'm also starting to have visions of iconic plays being run out on that big brown dirt section in the middle...

Seems like they are only using that crane at night. Not sure why. Maybe other trades are doing stuff and this way they aren't getting in each others way.

I woke up this morning to check it out and... Dude? Where'd all that stuff up top come from?

I've been checking daily for about two weeks. They lift 7 day/week starting between 5-6 PM. Trucks laden with precast parts stream in until well after midnight. Quite a show.

I've also never caught them actually moving any of the precast pieces. I see now that work is being done in the evening. I've been on the east coast for several months and shut down the computer long before construction stopped for the day. But, I'm back now and looking forward to catching the action.

I wonder where they are making the concrete pieces. I believe the precast vendor is in Perris, CA.

Watching now at 10:00 pm, and "Aztec Warrior Stadium After Dark" is a little bit more compelling than the average matinee version of things...

It's fun to look in every morning and see the progress they made. I'd imagine most of the concrete on the west side will be in place by October.
