We certainly have a chance. It may depend on if he wants to go to college on the West Coast. Since we are the only school on the West Coast, the answer to that question may determine if we win/lose. From a roster need standpoint, and from a program perspective, I think that he is a great fit. Still, I definitely can see Kentucky getting him since they can likely offer him playing time this year - what an opportunity for any player! Of course he will likely get recruited over. If he decides that he wants to stay on the East Coast, he can battle for minutes with the Freshman and Sophmore Bigs at Arkansas. Western Kentucky he could start at, but to me that seems like to small of a pond for such a high quality recruit with really strong offers. But if he really gets along well with the coaching staff and players, that could be a great fit for him as well. Syracuse and Seton Hall do not seem like as good of options.

Kentucky is going after Olivier Sarr hard. I'm assuming if they get him, Anselem would be less likely to commit there.

Has a waiver and can play immediately. 7'0 255 lbs. 14PPG 9 RPG 1.2 BPG He doesn't have a waiver yet. He's HOPING to receive a waiver. If he does, or if they change the transfer rule (looking more unlikely), then he'll go to Kentucky. If he is forced to sit, then he'll turn pro. This, along with NC State potentially being ineligible for post-season, could help us in recruiting. Hopefully we can land 1 of those 2 bigs, somehow, some way.

So the Five remaining are: Arkansas, San Diego State, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Western Kentucky. "Anselem had Zoom calls this week with Seton Hall and Syracuse, with one source saying those two schools are “gaining the most momentum.” He also talks often with San Diego State." www.zagsblog.com/2020/05/08/frank-anselem-now-down-to-five-schools/
