Multiple reliable sources have been reporting it’s a done deal to Syracuse all day. And that would be the coach he's had the longest relationship with (Coach "Red"), so in a year where you can't take additional visits it wouldn't be a major surprise. It would be very "Williamson-like".

Also mentioned he may have to sit a bunch in year one, but Sidibe would be graduating. Again, not a surprise. Found it odd he'd wear a Georgia Southern t-shirt (believe that's what is was). Would have been very Leaf-like had it been a Georgia shirt.

It happens. Perhaps we will see his name in the portal. Losing Boeheim soon and never getting over the hump in the ACC could be frustrating. But it is still hard to beat their recent final four, their attendance numbers, facilities, rivalry games with old Big East and still playing an ACC schedule.

Syracuse has a talented young big who put up big per minute numbers in a small sample, we will see if he can beat him out in a year. Would have definitely liked to have him but not a catastrophic recruiting loss or anything

Would have definitely liked to have him but not a catastrophic recruiting loss or anything How much zone defense can you play? Going to need man-to-man skills at some point. In the NBA you have to be either guarding your man or the ball, and nothing in-between. I still think the Aztecs were a better fit, but we dont play in the ACC.

we had a very successful season last year but with the Virus - No MM exposure and no visits allowed - we had a difficult time recruiting wise during these last few months -
Fortunately coaches are bring in some talented freshmen that we signed earlier but still have problems getting the quality "bigs" -

This closes out the 2020 recruiting class between HS and transfers. As a reminder our Freshman class is as good as we have had in years: 6'3 Dinwiddie, 6'1 Butler, 6'6 Evans, and walk-on 6'5 Moher. Our Transfer class has been ranked best in the MW: 5'9 Gomez (Top #10 GTR- CSUN), 6'9 Tomiac (GTR- Maryland) plus the 6'10 Alger from Seattle U (preffered walk-on)
Additions: 2 GTR 5 Freshman status players = 7 new faces
Out going: Professional: 6'1 Flynn - moved up to 1st Round #29 in the NBA mock draft Graduation: 6'1 Feagan (signed w/Agent), 6'10 Wetzel (Pro NZ), 6'10 Narain Transfer: 6'10 Mensah (james Mason), 6'3 Giordano = 6 departures
I am not that concerned on not signing Anselem, Williamson and Gach. There are (12) scholarship players

Another regular transfer has hit the portal Mike Peake 6'8" 220 lbs. leaving Georgia would sit 1 and have 3 to play - Was a back up last year average 2 points and 2 rebounds - think it would be worth a call
Frank may have helped in area we need most guy that wants to play down low but we move on
Do agree that our coached may have added the best talents for freshman class in MW but only time and production will tell
As for transfers coming into MW - considering regular transfers that can play in 2020- grad transfers - JC and mid year - think BSU has added even better group also believe UNLV has some strong players
Things could get crazy if the NCAA approves transfers with No sit for the 2021-22 season -

IMO I think were done with 2020 recruiting and focusing class of 2021 & 2022. Save #13 for later, mid year-transfer, etc.. We have (5) spots to fill after the 20-21 season: Terrell Gomez PG, Jordan Schakel SG, Trey Pulliam CG, Matt Mitchell SF, Josh Tomiac PF. I dont think we'll see any huge transfers in June/July even with the NBA Draft being pushed back. Over 950 players in the pool right now, mostly leftovers. Next year will be the wild, wild, west of Transfers. Hope we continue to sit on the Top of the MW.

Think NBA said draft will be in October 2020 .
NCAA will talk/ maybe vote on the No Sit transfer rule Jan of 2021 - will see what happens -if it passes could be that players may play the 2020-21 season - then be able to announce that they will transfer and play the 2021-22 season for their new school . Things will get crazy quickly
Challenging time for the coaches - hope we can keep the coaching staff together
For the Aztecs as you said will be important to have another successful season .
Aztecs finished 4th in MW during 2017-18 Dutcher first year as HC - won the MW T but were 0-1 in MM .
2018-19 finished 4th or 5th- and did not play in MM or NIT .
2019-20 had great 30-2 season , won MW Conference but lost in MW T final- because of the Virus no MM games -
