LMFAO!! Did you read the entire article where Fauci is being quoted? Obviously not. So now the USA Today is lying. Unreal!! Just more deflection as usual. He was wrong in February about the risks being minimal, far too general in the sense or conveying information to the public at large. This is what I have been saying the whole f-ing time!! And yet I have been attacked and been called a lier from liberals on this board. And when I attack back with facts, look at the responses.

Stop playing the victim card unless you are willing to endorse the numerous lies from the Oval Office. You can find blame where you're looking for it, no matter what. Can we not absolve the president from lying on a daily basis though as the most important public figure in the face of a crisis? I'm not defending the other side. Politics as usual, with both sides to blame for the shortcomings of the stimulus bill, the failures in states like Florida, Georgia, Missisippi, Alabama and Arkansas, the lack of cohesion even in the local sense. But the people hold the president to a standard higher than everyone else, rightfully so given the responsibilities placed.

I will defend myself with facts when attacked with downright lies and twisting what I am actually stating. The American people have been misguided from ALL directions. And the finger pointing and division from government officials and the media instead trying to get people to unite is disgusting.

Let's all hold those in the utmost positions of power to the highest standard possible. Leadership at this point is paramount.

But no one person should be taking ALL the blame for this horrible $#!+ going on throughout the world.

Pelosi just created a committee to review the trump administration’s handling of the Corona Virus. LOL While Trump was working tirelessly to minimize Covid-19, she and her Like minded klan were calling the president a racist for shutting down travel from China in late January. I don’t hear that anymore? Instead of uniting, she was fixated on trying to impeach Trump, and now she’s investigating the Covid-19 response. Completely and ridiculously laughable.

No oversight is likely a worse option. In the face of a global pandemic, this is par for the course. Just as when the stimulus bill was passed with a provision that the discretionary fund would have a bipartisan committee to oversee its dispersal of funds. Guess who immediately waived that provision as soon as it was signed?

Nobody really answered my question...maybe because "The Media" is all slanted one way or the other? Whenever I am reading, watching, or listening to "News" or "Reporting" I always consider the source. Believe me, I have tried to find a news outlet that doesn't have a political bent to it. About the closest I have come is the BBC World News, and they do have their own editorial slant. But it is fairly equally aimed at both sides of the U.S. political spectrum (you can almost see them rolling their eyes when they are reporting on U.S. politics). Of course, watching a session of the British Parliament can be pretty entertaining too!

Waived because we want to save the economy, business’s who pay employees must be assisted so that when the economy is ready to re-open, these small and mid sized companies are still in business . The last thing we need is to politicize the $ to be ear marked towards liberal causes and wishlists.

Key the usual far left suspects on this board and their attacks. However, I figured it out. It's the same handful of posters that do the same thing in the sports subjects as well. One has been warned by the mods in this thread. It's not worth arguing with them. They only hear and listen to what they want in order the feed their political agenda even when someone post factual information. The truth will come out when this is all over. And hopefully that's soon!! However, the Establishment Democrats are showing what they care about and are once again embarrassing themselves.

You can always fact check what you hear with independent sources, but for this specific situation, I would listen to the medical professionals from accredited institutions.

I just want to know what that "truth" is. Or maybe I don't.... I don't think anybody knows. The truth in this situation is that testing is woefully inadequate and disproportionate based on the official data, private labs are not reporting their findings to state officials, hospitalizations are being tracked haphazardly, giant retailers who promised their parking lots for drive-in testing have largely overpromised and underdelievered and the smoke and mirrors surrounding the highly touted new tests hasn't dissipated. Testing finally broke through the ceiling of 110-120,000 (to 140), but there's zero unity.

The federal government has been covering up the medical properties of marijuana and CBD for decades. Mostly at the hands of lobbyist from the pharmaceutical industry. Who knows, maybe marijuana can actually help. I don't see a problem with at least trying at this point.

Yeah, I think you missed the (maybe too subtle?) underlying rhetorical nature of my question. I'm no dummy, of course I can fact check. My point is that people throw the term "The Media" out there, and as has been by Alumtec, there really are no unbiased news sources.
