I look forward to seeing them in the MW tournament. They did a lot of yapping during and after the game and I we'll beat them down if we see them in the MW tournament.

I'm glad we lost now......We didn't deserve to win this game....
I'm probably older than most of you on this board....as a kid, I was a huge Depaul fan growing up....I watched teams led by Mark Aguirre and Terry Cummings lose first round games, two consecutive years as the #1 seed....
We need to be grounded going into the NCAA tournament....I've noticed lately KJ, Matt and others complaining about ticky tac fouls almost like they're entitled to more favorable calls....
Our mindset going in against Vegas would have no chance vs. Baylor or Kansas.....Non of the Mountain West teams have put up much resistance to us in conference....most have folded like lawn chairs when we get up and are consistently hitting our 3 ball - which didn't happen tonight....
Winning can become a burden as success becomes 2nd nature....even 1 more loss wouldn't be a disaster.....
Go Aztecs......

Anyway, 30 years ago, a #2-ranked UNLV team was upset by an unranked UCSB, only to go on to win the next 11-straight and win the national championship. This team will come back meaner, leaner, and more hungry than ever.

Remember the "No losses when leading with 5 minutes" streak? All streaks end. Start a new one. the Aztecs trailed most of the game from Aztecs 14-13 lead including at the 5 minute mark so the 5 minute mark was not involved today. conference and home winning streak being snapped. my beard will be shaved. The point about "5 minutes" was that every streak ends. Sorry you missed that.

I don't remember so many players taking the refs aside and "discussing"fouls. Mitchell was outside the cylinder and totally deserved getting a charge called on #55 but instead UNLV got the basket and 1. Each ref had horrible calls, especially the youngest one. But we still deserved to lose it because of the way we played. (or didn't play)
Really disappointed in Pulliam. I thought after those 18 pts in Vegas, he'd come out strong but instead he looked like a scared juco transfer who was afraid to make a mistake.

Puliam looked like he didn't want to get the ball at all. gotta get these guys playing with confidence again. sadly, this will be a great game for future opponents to study. start a new winning steak on Tuesday.

Pulliam missed several play calls - I saw one where he missed a pass from Flynn, and then he gestured to the bench (after he missed a pass that resulted in a turnover) that he didn't hear the play called instead of following the ball down the court. Total rookie action. Earned him a bench call at the next time out, too. But he was just one of 7 or 8 players who were really not ' on the ball' yesterday.

If you analyze the boxscore from the first game we played them, the only difference was less turnovers. That's why we won the first game. Everything else was pretty much the same as yesterday. We out rebounded them yesterday, but the turnovers negated it. We also missed too many shots close to the basket. I think we should go inside more if we play them in the MWC tourney. UNLV is very handsy, a fouling machine against aggressive teams. Feagin and Mitchell played badly in both these games. Not a good stat.
