Nevada up by 20 over the woofpack 49 to 29 Not sure what? NM that bad or Nev that good. Ugly game with both jacking 3's. New Mexico has no one who can score on a consistent basis, yes their that bad. They have lost 4 of 5 starters. Nevada had one of those nights shooting 3's every thing went in, In including several unintentual bank shots.

#17 Maryland still having trouble on the road. Down 76-74 to Indiana with 1:07 to play.
FINAL 77-76 MD wins as Indiana missed a chippy at the buzzer.

Iowa made a great comeback from 12 points down at about the 7 minute mark to beat Wisconsin 68-62. That helps us a little. And in a low level game, Texas Southern is leading Arkansas, Pine Bluff 51-45 with 7:31 to go. If they keep winning in conference, they could easily sneak up into the sub-200 range. It's only a little thing, but little things can add up.

Also of note, Iowa and Creighton are now both in Sag's top 25, meaning we are now 2-0 against his T25 and 4-0 against his T50 (Utah State is now #50.) The only other team with T25 and T50 perfect record is Baylor, who he has rated #1. I don't want to see us in the same region as Baylor.

A subtlety of the advanced metric systems. In the old RPI, it was just W/L and opponent RPI that were looked at... with the newer metrics, margin of victory relative to projected MoV is also factors in.

Utah State will come into our game as a Sagarin Top 50 team. Seems like every team we play has an extra days rest before our game.

Ole Miss blows game in reg., Auburn blows 5 point lead in OT. I don't like how Bruce Pearl explodes on his players.

They desperately need a high profile win to avoid the dreaded "Bubble." TT win also (indirectly) improves our SOS and Net.
