I know it's later in the season and one game won't make as much of a difference to metrics but let's see where KenPom puts #2 Duke after losing by 22(!) to #59 NC State.
Auburn fell all the way to #37 after losing to 13-13 Georgia.

Auburn fell all the way to #37 after losing to 13-13 Georgia. They dropped to #5. But also dropped nearly 2 full Kenpom points which is a huge amount for 1 game. |

If we remain the 4th ranked #1 Seed, we would probably get either Maryland or Dayton as a #2 in the East. Maryland has been hot and has a lot of Q1 potential Ws coming up. They could easily end up as the highest rated #2. Their proximity to NYC could give them an even bigger supporting crowd than Duke.
If they keep winning, they could even pass Baylor or Kansas if either of those closes two games and then, that team would probably be the highest rated #2.
Gonzaga losing to BYU and us winning out would make a huge difference in everything for us.

They'll then be the heavy favorite to win the A10 Conf. Tourney. Plus, they have crowd, media and NCAA pooh-bah favorite Obi Toppen. |
