Most of the Lobo board are calling out the girl for being the problem. It's interesting and disgusting to see people trying to intelligently rationalize violent behavior. Because she waited two days to go to the police, most of them don't believe her. Guarantee, their tune would be sung differently if he was a third-string guard averaging 1.3 pts a game. These are the same morons who used to yell out vicious and mean things at Fisher in the Pit. I hope both kids are gone for the year, the team implodes and they lose every game. Your position is ironic considering Carlton Bragg left Kansas after being charged with criminal assault against his girlfriend. Yet after an investigation authorities dropped the charges and actually charged the girlfriend with battery. And I remember the Dominic Artis fiasco at Oregon. Let things play out. |

Weir is worried about keeping his job. Their rabid fanbase had such high expectations and now, without 4 starters, they're all worried about even winning a couple more games the season. They're all angry and questioning his judgment and most want him gone.
BUT.....if he brings back the two thugs and two injured staters return, maybe, just maybe, they could start winning again and even win the MWC Tournament and go to MM. ("rabid" doesn't mean rational)
Then no one will care about character issues or sexual battery. They're a pathetic mob who only have Lobo basketball in an otherwise sports-destitute state.

Lyle (35 minutes) and Jackson (27 minutes) both played for New Mexico on Saturday, so they're both back from their injuries.

I'm afraid Air Force like competition is not preparing us for the real competition we will confront in 6 weeks..... In pursuit of one of the most coveted amateur National Championship titles our nation celebrates, we need to be at least a little conditioned in preparation for the physicality exhibited by Big Ten and Big East teams we may face. |

we are going to need to really work on rebounding - and tighten up the defense - without fouling
Also are going to need the guys playing down low to be able to make FT's - Yanni , Nolan , AG , Keshad , Joel - teams could start fouling them rather then let our shooters beat them
