Byu is getting a pretty good push up the middle with just rushing 3, sometimes 4 and scouting the rest in the middle of the box. SDSU needs to go down field stop the small middle of the field stuff OPEN IT UP, what do they have to lose! Bakers 80% completion rate 65 yards total! |

I know that Baker is supposed to have a better arm than Agnew, but he needs some short completions and first downs. Then we can go deep.

I also think you have some recency bias. We have not had a good QB or passing attack in the Rocky era. Rocky has kept Horton here despite the fact everyone thinks/knows he sucks. |

I do have to say I like Bakers arm, too bad they didn't put him in sooner. I just don't like the play calling. The kid looks pretty good, not great but not bad for first reps.

Has Byrd’s effectiveness diminished? When was the last time that fly sweep worked? That was before defenses keyed in on it. Without a successful counter or play action to accompany this, it's become predictable. |
