We're alright. We've been running the ball well, and Agnew has been making better decisions in the second half. We need to stay consistent with this to win. Our D will step up. This happened. Thankfully.

I will get killed for this, even though I said at half (check the thread) that I still think we will win. Is this win ultimately a bad thing for SDSU? With how good our D is we should be THE group of 5 team this year, but our offense is terrible. I think we’ll win 10 games this year but that will be a disappointment.’ Weird to say that, but we have soooo much talent right now, I want more! We have soooo much talent right now? We do, an amazing amount of talent...

The Defense is fantastic
The whole team fights every game until the end and are not afraid, ever
The offense has sputtered all year
But, that was a solid ~250 yards of 2nd half offense... it seems like we are getting some things worked out...

I'd be interested to know what run blocking adjustments they made at halftime. Maybe went to a zone blocking scheme? Was much better.

Complaint department is closed!! Great win!! NO it's not... The complaint department will be open for 7 more days + at least 3 quarters into the game...I expect nothing less But that's our bulletin board fans for ya...(real fans are actually at the game)... ...and in three weeks...the MBB complaint window will be open for business as well...

This Aztec offense was obsolete in 1975.

What really pisses me off is that late hit OOB that Horton put on Wyoming's QB after a missed snap on 3rd down. He should be fired for that Good point. Mrs. Horton, may I please have another glass of lemonade? These crackers are making me thirsty.

I am pleased with the win but the clock management was terrible with 1:11 left at the end of the first half in not using any of the three SDSU timeouts. the cowboys then ran two plays to run out the clock.

Those Vegaas oddsmakers know a thing or two, huh? Gotta admit to a good case of nerves watching that second half, but Agnew came up big as did the entire offense when it mattered. That pass for the last TD was almost physically impossible. As Aaron Taylor said on the broadcast, something to the affect of "that was the most ill advised, stupid, impossible, GREAT pass...". And the one earlier to Jesse Taylor was a dime. Juwan showed he's a difference maker when close to healthy. Just a gritty, good win!

It looks like Rob Agnew showed up for the 2nd half. Unlike Ryan, Rob makes some clutch plays with his feet & arm.
Who was the new OC after Rocky fired Horton at halftime? With the exception of the drive after the fumble, that was a great 2nd half of play-calling.

I stayed away from the board last night. I refused to get caught up in the negativity as I had that feeling. Sure enough, it was good to stay away and what a great second half. Defense is just vicious at times. We were missing our starting Warrior if I read correctly but next man up. Great team win and onto the next game. Surprising how Horton can be so bad and then good at times but he figured it out last night.
I will take this win against a good WYO team who beat a good SEC team. This was never going to be an easy game but the boys got it done.
Fun to watch that second half and I am pumped for the next game.

Plays You are so correct about the odds makers. Point spread was 3 1/2 pts and the Aztecs win by 4. After last night performance by freshman walk-on Mathews, # 45 I can understand why Justice was looking to transfer. Aaron Taylor had some very positive things to say about a new stadium for the Aztecs. I hope as do most on the board that it comes to fruition. The Smurfs stomped the Rainbow Warriors last night, but did lose their stud freshman QB Brockmeyer to some kind of injury. I don't know if it was a concussive injury or other. He did take a very hard hit and didn't look good when the took him escorted to the dressing room. The Smurfs need not worry their back up QB threw for about 600 yds and 16 Td's. Execrated, but he threw just as well as Brockmeyer. The Warriors have a very poor pass defense.

Horton actually amazes me and runs a qb keeper end around. Credit where credit is due Exactly, that bootleg on that third down by Agnew was a GREAT call by Horton!!

I used to, but I couldn't stand the negativity either.
