Heavy pass oriented. Brookshire looked very strong. Williams and Bell ran hard. Thomas fumbled twice. Freshman Dinka broke a long TD run.

Rocky said it would still be a run first offense but there were a ton of passes thrown.

Attendance looked very poor!
Carson Baker didn’t look bad at all, although the calls were not as pass oriented for him as they were for Brookshire.

For RB, no Washington or Jasmin. Chance Bell and Keaguin Wiliams were the best performers. Keaguin showed a ton out there today in both pass and catch.

Has not been the case in the past, Very excited to see offense running and passing moving 5 to 10 yards many times . Something I haven't seen in the FanFest game and years. About a half dozen long shots to stretch the defense. It appears to me they are not showing much, no slot or 2 split ends to a side. Looking forward to the season.

We have a lot of RB’s; Washington, Jasmin, Williams, Bell, Dinka, Byrd, Greg Bell (injured) and Thomas who I haven’t heard anything on him.

Dinka broke off a big run because the defense did not play through the whistle. Otherwise, he looks like a freshman. Byrd payed, but did not do anything special. IMO, i din’t Think he will ever effectively run between the T’s. Z Thomas put the ball on the turf twice, which was a shame because he played well otherwise.

Two observations the offense looked good while the defense struggled. Last, can the athletics department please get together with Del Mar and not have the fan fest and Pacific Classic on the same day. Thanks for my phone I was able to watch it while at fan fest.

I'm suddenly way more stoked after reading this thread. The D will come, no doubt. But the idea that the kids have already bought into the new offensive system gets me geeked for this season at a whole new level.

Hope you’re kidding here. The Pacific Classic is a far more prestigious event than a controlled scrimmage. Might have affected you and a few others, but hardly a serious conflict of time.😉

...like I said last week, the offense is always ahead of the defense this time of year.🙄
