He will come in when Trey Kell is a senior. So that allows him to develop for a year before hopefully sliding into that role.

Do not see Seiko as a Jamaal style player - believe he is more defensive minded . Also Jamaal was not the best outside shooter . Jamaal was a sleek offensive threat at going to the basket or knew how to draw fouls and of course his various highlight dunks . Believe Adam is also adept at going to the basket solid build and sounds as if he really enjoys playing D . DJ originally was SG then moved to PG , shorter and slender .
Adam seems to be the "typical" Aztec player that may start out contributing some what at first but have a high ceiling going forward . More of a 3 or 4 year player . Advantage that he may have is if his D is that good he could earn PT in that way and see if he can also add some offense . Does help if he can shoot from the outside and of course FT% and not TO the ball.

Jamaal was a good defender , who many times had to guard taller players but not in the same class as Dakari , K.Leonard , Winston ( numerous times asked to defend the other teams best wing player in HS and at SDSU). Seiko could be asked to guard the other team's best guard . We will see when he hits college when players are much better then HS level.

Not a Jamaal type player. His high school coach called him a JJ O'Brien type player. He is the glue to his team. He does everything well and goes un-noticed. He just helps the team win. Fisher appreciates these type of players.

The Seiko/Jamaal comparison seems very weird, Seiko seems like a spot up three point shooter that will struggle to create his own shot.

Believe in his junior year of HS his 3 pt % was about 38% took about 3 a game . FT % about 67%?. AAU ball closer to 39 % for threes maybe 5 a game . Believe Some of the stats people are posting are from 2015 season. Should be interesting to see what he produces during this July of this AAU season and senior year in HS ?Many clips seem to show him driving to the basket for lay ups and a closer to 50 % on his 2 point shooting .
One thing that is consistent among notes on him is DEFENSE . He is not the star guy on offense but seems to motivate his team mates , keep them together , not afraid to take shots as needed but knows the importance of defense. Solid Guy that knows the game , importance of Team and the W .
Guy the coaches see contributing and getting better every year he plays .
