It would be too perfect for him to come here. Guaranteed starting spot to replace Sky. Hometown guy. Highest recruit in history. Which all means it won't happen. I hope he wants to be a game changer at sdsu instead of being just another guy at a bigger school.

He's not coming here, people need to move on from him and Ayton, there are certainly other targets than him and Ayton but because we don't have a good recruiting analyst guy with basketball connections so we don't really know who it is unless it is mentioned by Gershon. That being said you will here some stuff over AAU season who SDSU coaches are watching and offering.

That being said you will here some stuff over AAU season who SDSU coaches are watching and offering. Last week's interview on Scout, 5 star blue-blood and it sounded like U of A and UCLA are high on consideration. Other articles reflect Kansas and Michigan St recruiting hard. He's also 7'0" 230 & plays center. OP totally butchered it- wrong school, wrong position, wrong vitals. Only thing he got right was how we'd love to see him wind up here.

Believe there are about 9 guys in the top 25 HS 2017 recruits by Rivals that are PF/C - Do not see us on any ones 's list . Jeremiah Tilman (sp), is 6'10" and could be from same HS as Nolan Narain . As we all know recruiting guys that want to play the 5 has not been easy for SDSU .
Recruiting taller players from San Diego has not always been successful.

Chol would be one, although look how that turned out. : ) Cage sort of (SD background), although technically he's a OC guy & other factors were at work there.
I really like where we sit with this kid. He could still fall prey to the blue blood temptation, but for some reason everything I've heard about our relationship with him trumps even that with Cage & others. And I believe he's a big Dutch fan, so long-term stability plays in our favor as well.
I'm still trying to figure out the "taller players" comment? When have we been short? I would expect us to be among the tallest 20-30 teams nationally next year without adding anyone else.

I'm not saying they are All Americans or they were better than what we had but we haven't signed a local big since (I'm guessing) Walton (if one would consider him a big). |
