Sorry guys, just disappointed with his attitude that night. Could be the best kid on the planet for all I know. But to sit on his hands when 8000 people are showing respect for a legendary coach just didn't sit well with me. A character move would have been to stand with the masses for a man who has done so much for kids and the game. As coach Fish says, "the team, the team, the team." Not me, me, me. From past practices with his brother and dad, it seems they're all a out what you can do for me. Just my .02 cents with equals absolutely nothing. You got to be careful with this stuff, not that the kid would choose UCLA based off of what Andy said on a message board, but this kind of judging can be a real turnoff to the recruit and family/friends of the said recruit. That makes it official then, he's not coming here because of what you guys said about him on this board!! Well, I hope you're all satisfied!!

Andy didn't understand that Leaf was probably told to not show emotion or favoritism. The guy's not going to jump and down rooting for SDSU. He obviously was there for a reason or why waste his time. Leaf is no dummy. Neither is his dad. I think Leaf picks SDSU.

I wasnt comparing to Kawhi the player you dope. I was comparing to what "fans" said about kawhi at the banquet as far as attitude goes vs what one or two are saying now about Leaf.

Are you on staff, I didn't know. You dont have to be a coach on the staff to know how much they want him. Or how hard they have worked recruiting him. You really think they want fans bashing him two days before he decides where he is going? Use your brain dude.

Where i clearly said " not that leaf would choose ucla based on what andy said on a message board" .

Good point; however, I saw what I saw. So he is either a really laid back aloof kid, or he is not coming to SDSU, LOL. He did stand for the National Anthem lol. I remember seeing other players SDSU was recruiting getting into the game and cheering etc. I'm certainly not questioning what you saw, just that (hopefully) your interpretation might not be right. Sounds like he was acting like some of the fans that sit around me. And they're paying for the tickets. I hope I am wrong!

And they're paying for the tickets. Maybe he thought he was in the blue hair section? Or maybe he thought it was the student section at an Aztec Football Game! I am not a Blue Hair, nor am I a young punk who likes to mock older people, but for anyone to use the Term "Blue Hair," when it is the older folks who really support the Aztec's through good times and bad, is pure verbal fecal matter. I remember going to Aztec's Hoops games and there were only 5-10 rows of students there, but there sure were a lot of older folks at those games. Until you young people start supporting your football Team, I do not want to hear boo out of any of you about "Blue Hairs."

Not enough of the young people spending money or even supporting the football team. That being said, there quite a bit salty ass older fans at the bball game that ruin the viewing experience.

The young man is under a microscope. He didn't stand for Coach Fisher; perhaps in his judgment it would provide too much grist for the roomer mill. But he stood 'til the Aztecs made their first basket and he quietly allowed some cheering, especially for the Aztec bigs. UCLA is a great university with a fine basketball program. I hope he chooses the Aztecs, but UCLA is an understandable alternative.

I wonder if Bruin fans are saying a lot of the same things on their fan message board....probably since it most likely happens everywhere! Then if Leaf picks us they'll say he wasn't good enough to start at ucla or we wanted someone else. Fans are funny sometimes.

I am 67 and I guess I would be seated in the white hair section. Actually I think it could be funny if THE SHOW had a blue hair game! JMO

Jeez, give it a rest. How anal can you guys get? I've had season tickets since 1995 and I don't stand for the first basket either. I felt too stupid so many times in the last few years where I found myself still standing at the 17:23 mark.

I was really disappointed that he didn't wear a white dress and hat and stand like Glenn Close in The Natural. He was there to watch one of his final three schools play a basketball game. He wasn't there to be a distraction from the action on the court. For what it is worth, when you are close to seven feet tall and attending any event, please stay seated. It would suck to be in the seats behind a standing gigantaur.

I'm older than you and have no problem with the "blue hair" comment. Anyone who does have a problem is just looking for reasons to be offended.
