I too was unimpressed with the way he handled himself at the csusm game. Sat the whole time coach fish was speaking, never once did he clapp or acknowledge what coach fish has done. I know it's petty on my part, but his demeanor was as if he was better than the team. One bad apple spoils the bunch, hope he was just playing it cool. I just remember when Zylan came to watch games he was through the moon excited to be there. Could really care less if he goes to UCLA, we will be great with or without him. GO AZTECS!!!! lol

Sorry guys, just disappointed with his attitude that night. Could be the best kid on the planet for all I know. But to sit on his hands when 8000 people are showing respect for a legendary coach just didn't sit well with me. A character move would have been to stand with the masses for a man who has done so much for kids and the game. As coach Fish says, "the team, the team, the team." Not me, me, me. From past practices with his brother and dad, it seems they're all a out what you can do for me. Just my .02 cents with equals absolutely nothing.

people are different. everyone has their own personality and demeanor. i would wager a lot of money that a 'senior in high school kawhi leonard' would have acted the same way that leaf did. does that make kawhi a bad guy as well? no. not everyone handles every situation the same way and because they don't handle it the way you would does not automatically make them disrespectful and wrong.

Yep, we heard the same complaints about Kawhi at the banquet dinner.

You got to be careful with this stuff, not that the kid would choose UCLA based off of what Andy said on a message board, but this kind of judging can be a real turnoff to the recruit and family/friends of the said recruit.

Easy to say for someone of average size who's attending the game as an anonymous fan. But when you're a coveted recruit trying to lay low at a basketball game who is listed at 6'10 in shoes, standing up is kind of a big deal. . . .

I have no idea what TJ will do, but in the Aztecs favor:
1. More playing time his first year here than at UCLA. 2. Access to the JAM Center for life. 3. it would be very easy for his family and friends to attend games at SDSU. Can you imagine his family trying to drive from San Diego to Westwood for 10 or more games per year? That drive is a total nightmare any time of the day or night.
