No, not good enough. You and I heartily disagree. I really don't care what "others" say. I know what I see, and hear, from this sad leadership. I'm not going to change the minds of the "chorus"; nor do I care about that either. You're content with this administration and especially Mr. Long. THAT, is truly sad, as are the attempts--such as yours---to silence those that disagree with the aspersion laden sermons. So again, just my opinion. You and I certainly disagree on what is truly sad ... as I think your brand of "fandom" is caustic and unproductive. Where others see improvement and momentum, you see failure and regression. While the leadership of this university, athletic department and it's many coaches have brought about an unparalleled level of success, you see nothing but disappointment -- now that is SAD. Nobody is saying they are satisfied with where we are, but are rejoicing in where we've come from and can actually see the path forward. Considering where we were just a decade ago, where we are now is a really nice place to be ... and if things keep improving the way they have for SDSU & the Aztecs, a decade from now could be a really great place. When we get there, you'll probably still be cursing the leadership that got us there and complaining about something -- that's just who you are. So you say. Feel better? |

What goal would you have for Aztecs football that would not be preceded by winning the MW Championship? I would prefer that they think bigger, much bigger. Winning the MWC is so minimalist that it's truly embarrassing. If you're fine with that, so be it. For me, the goal should be the top-25 or higher. Period. Sterk said it, but without any believable conviction or action. You totally miss the point, which doesn't surprise me because you just want to b*tch about a coach you don't like. You ignore the fact that Coach Long has stated higher goals, including playing in & winning BCS bowl games, because they don't fit your narrative. Furthermore, how do you suppose the Aztecs reach the top-25 without winning the MW championship. Your trite complaining about Coach Long is pathetic. |
