"According to online reports that fan is Daniel Romero, a 2006 Belen High School Grad and a UNLV Grad."
Sounds like more UNLV thuggery.

Are the same people who consider a limp wristed tap on the shoulder from a guy in a bright yellow shirt "Thuggery", the same people who think Jamaal was "Showing Off"?

UNM fans are gross, first swearing and cursing at Winston on twitter for choosing SDSU, then fans calling Jamaal the n-word at the MWC tourney last year, now shoving opposing players around the baseline, [mod's note: text in violation of board rules deleted], get it together New Mexico

Not a misleading title at all... UNM thuggery? Unless you define 'thuggery' as planning on banning this guy from the Pit... Dude isn't associated with the university, not the one in NM at least.

I think it was the same punk that parked my car at the T&M last March. Same yellow shirt.

I honestly think this is a non-event. The guy was showing off in front of his friends and got caught up in the moment. My experience with NM fans was very positive....Went to a game at the Pit about 7 years ago and the fans were extremely knowledgeable and polite.

warning to all fans- in all arenas- keep your hands off all the players, coaches and refs. Would guess there will be announcements coming at future games.

Much ado about nothing. It was an intense game and the guy got caught up in the moment. It's not like he took a swing he just pushed a sweaty basketball player off of him. He got tossed, as he should have, and that's it.

Seriously, it was more a tap than a push. Stupid move, and a wrong move, but the guy acknowledged it right away by signalling with his hands to Marshall that it was a dumb move. Thuggery would mean the guy then mouthed off to the UNLV players knowing they couldn't do anything about it, being on TV and all. A non-issue, overexaggerated by fans and the media - as usual.

Guy was born in NM, but is a UNLV grad and now lives in LV. For what it's worth.

call it what you want, it wasnt the shove necessarily, it was the attempt to intimidate.
