From the half empty arena to their over active coach and towel waving bench. There was a lot of tough guy scowls and showboating from a 6-8 team.
Pure Comedy Gold.

A last second missed shot against that 6-8 team won that game. Pure comedy gold alright.

They played hard. They made shots. They didn't back down. They could have packed it in when they weer down 9,10,7 etc.
Props to Fresno.
The Color guy makes Quis seem smart, a hard thing to do.

I was impressed with Fresno. Earned some respect, they play very tough physical defense. Were they supposed to just roll over and play dead?

We're just lucky that their best player sprained his ankle early in the game and didn't return.

With the zone on the defensive end and the picks on their offensive end, they were tough.
They had a great game plan and I think we are going to have some serious trouble if better teams decide to use that same game plan

Fresno has a lot more talent than a 6-7 team going in. They're going to pull off a couple upsets before the year is out.
That said, Chase Tapley won't have a game that bad the rest of the year. I sure as heck hope not anyway.

I sure as heck hope not anyway. Agreed. Glad we got that game out of the way now because Fresno is no freebie. They will win most of their games at home. Can't wait til UNLV rolls in, then rolls over. They're cannibalizing each other on their own board with tonight's loss at UNM.

Really not sure we watched the same game. They played balls out. Both teams.

With the zone on the defensive end and the picks on their offensive end, they were tough. They played man against us most if not all the game.

Bottom line--it was a "W" for the Aztecs. They are not all going to be pretty...
