So in 2013 it'll be 4 OOC games, 5 division games, and 3 games vs the "East" division. Sound correct?

Louisville/Cincinnati? Really?
I thought Temple was going to be the BE bitch until another western team was added? Why "punish" one of the better teams in the league who is actually sticking around with all that travel?

Wow. That's a lot of freaking flying time guys. When I was "commuting" from Florence, KY, (CVG), to San Diego on weekends, it was 4hr+ each way. DFW is a 3hr+ flight from SLC. The closest "west" fellow member is 2hr+ assuming you can secure a non-stop. The success of the ECHL was its ability to secure a number of western region hockey teams that formed legitimate divisions. I am of the school of thought, if the BE fails to do this, the proposed current business model will definitely be a challenge.

If the BE implodes, this will have been good for us by helping to begin creation of rivalries with schools we will form a new conference with. Since that conference would also include Fresno and UNLV, and perhaps also UNM, that conference would have some much closer roadies.

How much time does it take to go from San Diego to Laramie, Fort Collins, or Logan?

Why "punish" one of the better teams in the league who is actually sticking around with all that travel? Louisville or Cincinnati to Dallas, Houston and Memphis isn't so bad. If the BE does the scheduling right, they will have them play Boise or us one home/one road each year. One trip out west won't kill them.

Love it! Really looking forward to Texas trips and Memphis trips, and add in some Florida trips! Great exposure for our players and great exposure for our Brand in those big states!

They are adding Navy and a western team - so to make it 7-7 you need could not move temple to the east. Might as well get it right the first time.

I was somewhat hoping for a north/south with the 2 florida school with the new schools and Memphis in the north. Would have allowed for traditional rivalries and given us a presence in CA, TX, and FL (guessing that's why the did not do it that way).

Should be Louisville due to the proximity to Memphis...
The funny thing is that with this type of alignment...it really wouldn't have been that bad for the Aztecs the join the BE as a MBB member (Thursday / Sat games in SMU/Hou, Louisville / Memphis, Cinn / De Paul)...
Couldn't be much worse than the bus rides through the mountains of th MWC

Freakin' flyer mileage! Sign up now. In two seasons you should have enough flight time to qualify to fly a jumbo jet!

While it would have been nice, you still establish yourselves in the South and there is plenty of rich football talent to go around. Louisville/Cincy is an acceptable replacement.

I look at that BE schedule and what I find exciting is bringing our California laden roster into these schools on the other side of the country, with our great skill players in our pro set offense and our wild and whacky defense flying all over the place and showing 'em what we're all about. I'm sure, along the way, there's going to be some kids over there that are enticed by our brand of ball, and want to come on board. We'll get great exposure and it'll be great for recruiting on both coasts. Can't wait for it to start happening!
