I'm pleased and I'm very happy for the team and staff, especially the seniors who have been through three head coaches since their arrival on campus. On the other hand I'm very disappointed by the failure of the students and community at large to embrace this team.

I'm pleased and I'm very happy for the team and staff, especially the seniors who have been through three head coaches since their arrival on campus. On the other hand I'm very disappointed by the failure of the students and community at large to embrace this team. Seems like the program is growing in spite of the students and the community. Hope the trend reverses soon. |

Feels good to make progress. I'd like to see 4-5 star recruits lining up to be part of this program. I'd like to see 300 lbs D-linemen with sub 5.0, 40s keeping us high on their lists. I'd like to see more 6ft 5, 250 lb linebackers with Jake Fely's fire make official visits.
I'd like to see more.
Don't rebuild, reload.
Make winning a tradition.

I'm taking the Rocky Long approach, celebrate for an hour then switch it off to prepare for the work ahead.
We still got lots of work to do, we have not arrived. I've seen the lean years and I don't want them to return.
Sure, go celebrate and wig out all you want but I'm looking at the future, we need to maintain consistency.
