For some reason I thought we beat Oregon State on the road. I don't know the year but I'm thinking it was in the 70's maybe early 80's.

We did beat Oregon State on the road but they were then a member of the Pac-8. It was 1975. Also, it wasn't in Corvallis but in Portland for some reason. The final was 25-0. BTW, I assume this is where the game was played: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeld-Wen_FieldAs you can see, it was a HS field until the World Football League came into existence in 1973 and with it, the Portland Storm and the stadium was expanded to accommodate them. The game was played in September of 1975 and the Storm became defunct the month after that.

Im pretty sure i missed the part where rocky long became the main topic of conversation...but does anybody have any new information on the Depth Chart???...If Ezell and locket can hold on to the starting spots, that would be very nice...this could possibly be the most total speed SDSU has ever had on offence( remember im only 26 so old heads please take it easy on me lol)

We need Denso healthy and the little guy Vizzi looks promising

I don't think this starting WR group can hold a candle to the Patrick Rowe, Dennis Arey and Darnay Scott group.........if you didn't get to see them that's too bad, on the other hand that makes you young enough to make me envious. ;D

the middle of the field should be the area where tight ends do their most damage, and i dont think either of us have a concern at the tight end spot...the deep speed we have should push the safeties high and leave easy work for the middle...im more concerned about our RB play...dont believe we have respectable players there

Our RBs are fine

Rocky plans to use five or six WR in a rotation where they all get about the same number of snaps. Barring one of them going ballistic and scoring like crazy who starts is meaning less. It is just the way it is on defense except croner, where I think three guys may rotate I am not sure where keels and holder are at this point. Rocky said he prefers not to use true freshman so barring injuries or crap performance you are not going to see any of them. Where did you hear this?

Crazy talk. We are stacked at RB. Is there any chance Price becomes the starter before the year ends? The Oracle has heard you and others say very good things about him. I doubt it. He'll be getting some carries though.

The Monty thinks he knows a bit about football, and the way The Monty saw Hardwick run at the scrimmage, and what some of The Monty's dudes in the SGV said about Muema, Price has some bodies to climb over.

The Azthetic is very excited about the start of the season, yet only cautiously optimistic about our chances to go bowling even though our schedule is favorable.

The SGF knows it's sacrilege to say but the SGF thinks the Oracle could be correct about Muema. What I saw of the kid last year sure reminded me a lot of Brandon Bornes. That's not bad mind you, but who would you rather have, Bornes or Ronnie H.? I think either Hardwick or Price could be the reincarnation of #13.
And I'll repeat that although folks keep saying we'll have a tailback by committee approach since we're so stocked at that position, when Rocky was at UNM, he always settled on one guy and rode that same horse over and over, just like he did with Ronnie. And note this, oh heeders of the Sirens, although Muama got to carry the ball 42 times a year ago, he caught just two passes for three yards.
