Nolan Gannon struck out 15 in Santa Fe Christian's D4 championship win today against Madison. Heard folks saying he was in the low 90's.

So what round will he go in the draft next week? baseball america has him rated as the 285th best player in the draft so he very well could go in top 10 rounds. Baseball america rated the players 1-500 in the draft here are the ones SDSU has signed. 190. Zach Quintana 252. Joe Munoz 285. Nolan Gannon 426. C.J. Saylor

What is conventional wisdom these days as to who goes pro and who goes to college...top 100 , 150?

What is conventional wisdom these days as to who goes pro and who goes to college...top 100 , 150? Pretty much all first rounders sign, most top 10 round guys sign. Clubs have a good idea of who will sign and which guys will take well above slot to be able to sign. If some of these guys will sign for slot or lower than slot they generally go early then expected, and the opposite happens.

Trust me draft pick families read that stuff!

This sucks man screw the draft!! Doubt we finish top 3 in the MWC next year, and the big west is going to be any easier. Did CJ Saylor get picked?
