Can he even get out of his commitment? Also, we still don't have an available scholorship and were not even among his final teams (according to the list).

Of course they should try, unlikely he even considers us though at this point in the game. Think he did play AAU ball with Shep though, but that doesnt mean much either. Most of the top talent in the region has played with each other at some point.

No, we don't want to be like those douche bags at Kansas.

No, we don't want to be like those douche bags at Kansas. It's really a different situation though if Frank Martin moves to USC. Even if had signed an LOI, lots of schools grant a release to kids if the head coach leaves. As far as Upshaw, we offered him early but he plays really soft for his size IMO. I'd rather have a 6'5 guy with a chip on his shoulder playing center.

Wow, when I saw USC I thought USC was trading 1 wild man for another, but this is the other USC, South Carolina!

Any and every available 7'0 needs to be considered at this point.

If he's really 7 inches tall, and 275 lbs, I don't want him until he goes on a serious diet.

It was nice to have that change of pace center that could lean on opposing teams big men. IMO, with Spencer,Johnson, and Stephens all being leaner, it wouldn't be such a bad deal to have a true BIG for scenarios where we might need more of that. (i.e. NCST).

Even though this is a legitimate post given the timing, the OP is a troll, and we really ought to stop replying to this nonsense.
Sooner or later, we're gonna need to kick Tapley off the team to make room for someone.

I'd love this guy, that's a given.
A scholarship needs to open up first, though.
I've learned to stay faaaaaaar away from these types of threads.
