Upshaw smartly signed a grant an aid and not a LOI. Aztecs should definitely go after him but expect him to end up at Louisville or Georgetown. No, we don't want to be like those douche bags at Kansas. You mean like being a current Final Four team with lots of National Championships and one of the top NCAA hoops pedigrees in the country?

A guy at that size would be pretty much limited to a half court game. Isn't that one of the reasons why BC came off the bench? I think Fisher prefers a tall gazelle type who's more versatile and wouldn't get gassed when he needs to go up tempo.

Pretty sure this guy would start for us without question. BC came off the bench because he just was not that good - and we had Malcolm Thomas. Fish does prefer an athletic and versatile forward over a slow and unathletic center... but we have never had an athletic "true" center. BC and Garrett Green were the closest thing we have had to that. A guy at that size would be pretty much limited to a half court game. Isn't that one of the reasons why BC came off the bench? If the kid was excited to play for Martin it would seem odd to me that his next choice for a guy to play for would be Coach Fish. Talk about polar opposite coaching styles.

Why would anyone want to play for that A..hole Martin ? LOL! I think he's the kind of coach players love. Loved being at the game and kicking his ass at the fat farm a few years back.

Reached out? With what scholarship? As a walk-on? Connect the dots. If I do that, then I must conclude that Fisher has told at least 2---in view of how many offers we have outstanding and those we continue to pursue---maybe 3 current team members have been told that they will not receive a scholarship next year. Do I have that right? If so, then it is surprising that that hasn't leaked out by those students and/or staff.

Basketball offers don't work that way each year most coaches offer 15+ kids that doesn't mean in the end these offers are available after a player commits to the school, SDSU I am guessing will take only 1 more person in this recruiting class, so 1 person currently on scholly won't be for next year.

Okay, understood, but I'd still expect a leak about who that would be. I mean other than what this board has speculated over the past 2 months.
