I know Fisher and Bland were there and I know I probably missed the thread about him, but little Gordon was dominant last night. Hopefully this time around the Gordon's will send their son this way. That's a big athletic kid and he's only a junior. You know how hard we are recruiting him or hopes of landing him?

Not sure if we have an offer out or anything yet though. He is getting recruited hard by UW and UA. Some recruiting pieces calling him the next Blake Griffin with his size, strength and leaping ability.

If we are going after Little Aaron Gordon next year might way heavy in his mind. Brother just left New Mexico so Drew might push hard for him to go there. But dad did play at state. I think if we have a great season Gordon will want to come to SDSU.

The Gordons are huge fans of Steve Alford and The University of New Mexico.

Aaron is better than Drew right now...as in TODAY. He's 6'9 with post and perimeter skills. Future 1 and done lottery pick. I seriously doubt he'll end up in the Mountain West.

I think Rivals reported he wasnt interested in SDSU, but Fish and Bland were going to recruit him anyway to try and change his mind.

It's between UNM, Washington, and Arizona, and the MWC is better than the lack 12.

He's been saying for awhile that his top schools are Washington, Arizona, and an outside chance of UNM, but he seems to be enamored with the pac12 for whatever reason. We'd be much better off focusing all of our time on Roschon Prince, a guy whose 3 or 4 years could be much more valuable than Gordon's 1 or 2, and Prince said SDSU is his top school right now while Aaron Gordon doesn't even mention us.

Prince's main focus should be football. He's not a future NBA player but he'd be a 1st Rd pick in the NFL some day. He scores all of his buckets by overpowering weaker kids. He won't be able to do that in college. He doesn't have a fluid perimeter game. I seriously hope he make football his #1 priority so he can get paid after College.

It's between UNM, Washington, and Arizona, and the MWC is better than the lack 12. The only chance the Aztecs have of getting in the race for Gordon is if the coaches from these 3 schools leave to go to other programs this offseason and then we still wouldn't be in his Top 5. At least if he goes to UNM we won't have to play against him.

Are there any recruits that you do like? I don't want to come off as being an a-hole. I was just wondering.

Romar loses 2 Fwds this year in Gant & Sherrer. He may lose Fr. Gd Tony Wroten and Soph Gd Terrence Ross. Next year Scott Suggs Fwd & Adul Gaddy Gd go. Romar is a great recruiter and if Gordon is a 1 & done he can have him. JMHO!

He's going to Washington unless Romar for whatever reason isn't there in 2013, Drew if he had to do it over again would have gone to Washington too, the family is all close with Romar
