wow a douche with over 10 years coaching exp thanks k5 If you are a youth coach I wouldn't want you coaching my kid. I'm with k5 on this one. He go out with your younger sister and never call?

No doubt. I'm all for letting coaches coach the kids but I wouldn't let that douchebag anywhere near my step son.

rmk with all due respect, stating your opinion of a kid's skill is one thing but you have been on a mission to tear this kid apart since he committed and it has personal written all over it. i've seen others like K5 and old school give their honest opinions of a recruits skills and theyve been down on kids before but they don't relieve themselves on a kids head like you do. your likely a young couch in his late 20's/early 30's who started assistant coaching immediately after high school. i know your type and you have some maturing to do still.

Dang! Tuff crowd! I regret that I was one of the ones who did this to Colt Morrison. He did not deserve it nor does Morin.

This is one weird thread. Perhaps best just to let it cease.

TCU recruits RB's from highschools and has them change positions ALL THE TIME. Seems to work out for them. Not sure why this is such a big deal.

Rocky recruits "athletes" first and foremost. Where they play it's up to what the coach thinks. Earn your job like everybody else. Auditions begin in camp. If you're not ready, you'll redshirt. It happens everywhere else, all the time, every season.

This kid has a lot of potential. I watched him play for 3 years and he has one hell of a strong arm and lots of athleticism. I watched him throw 65+ yards with no problem. His stats were somewhat deceiving because he throws so hard there were alot of dropped passes. He tended to get down on himself, but I think Sipe will be a big help in that area. If QB doesn't work out he has really good hands, so maybe TE. He can easily pack on more weight. His Dad and uncle are both really big guys. Hopefully, Sipe can mold him to the QB everyone hopes he can be. Obviously he was recruited by several schools so these scouts saw some potential. Don't think Rocky and Brian would throw away a scholorship if they didn't see potential. It's a shame folks like to bag on a 17year old who graduated early so he can learn the system early and sacrifice his senior year of HS. Good luck kid.

6' 2" & 217, 4.7 40 projects him as what a LBer, big Safety? The final depth chart of the year: MIDDLE LINEBACKER (MLB) 42 Jake Fely, 5-10, 200, Fr.-RS 36 Nick Tenhaeff, 6-2, 225, So.* 50 Chris Gordert, 6-0, 225, Jr.-SQ 40 Scott Graves, 5-10, 205, Jr.-TR Looking at those sizes, the BigE OC must be licking their chops - are there a smaller bunch of MLB anywhere in D1 football? I know, I know... tough, smart, quick, blah blah blah meanwhile, it comes down to physics and mass and for 300lb lines making holes since we remember that the Aztec mini backers stand behind a DL going about 250 or so... lets hope Coach Hall moves these guys quickly back and forth from the training table to the weight room.

They are excited to have him and help him develop. I think it was only one guy who bagged and he self-identified as a father of a QB, probably Matt's competition for schollies. Most of us, if not all are excited to have him here.

I like that this kid is a strong physical runner with a strong arm, and he's a lefty. The question I have is will Coach Long and staff be able to coach him up to the point where he can consistently make a clutch play on 3rd and 12?
The quarterback needs to be a playmaker who can lead the team. I trust that the staff will find a leader from the Katz/Bernards/Jefferies/Dingwell/Morin group. I like that all of these guys have some mobility, may the best qb win.
