After watching the video I think I can see why he wasnt highly recruited initially. He lacks that "wow" factor that so many great athletes have. He reminds me of Marcus Slaughter in one regard. Early in Slaughter's career, he rarely would do too much above the rim, power dunks or dunks off of misses. As he matured, he started to trust his athleticism more and the highlight reel became spectacular. Spencer seems to be the same way. At the beginning of the video he dunks but not emphatically. By the end he began to elevate more, and there's a dunk at the end where he's running the court where he gets so high. This kid has size, length, athleticism, and he still looks like he's got some growing to do physically.
I think Coach Fish found a player!!!

I wasn't going to say anything, but I had watched the Polee highlights just before watching Spencer's and Polee seemed at a completely different level. With his dunks, his head was near the rim, with Spencer his head is near the bottom of the net. Now we all know that Polee is a freak of nature and dunking ability doesn't define a guy's skill set, but it was noticeably different for me. FYI, this looks like a new video posted yesterday:

That's why paulg said in one regard. He was just ttalking about his explosion.
Jcj, the dunks at the end of the video are done with ease. I agree with what you said in the beginng. But its night and day, I want to know the time frame inwhich these videos have been put together. Because something clicked with spencer at the end.
