I think I'm completely underestimating the impact that LBF might have this year. But I really can't see DJ as the senior captain losing too many minutes but, this kid might already be a better ball handler, passer and quicker with the ball than DJ. Of the 2 freshmen, I still think Jamaal will get more minutes and have a greater impact next year ... but we should be loaded at guard either way.

Interesting that Thames and LBF are roommates because they will be competing against each other for the starting PG spot in 2011.

Possibly. Thames can bump over to the two guard too.

Either way having Tapley, LB or Thames coming off the bench is awesome.

I don't recall a lot of time when DJ would "drive and dish"; I believe that interior passing will be more suited to LBF's game. This will be a nice change of pace. With the athleticism and good hand of our front line, will hopefully result in some easy looks and throw downs.

As much as I like DJ Gay, it would be nice to have another quick point guard with the ability to break people down off the dribble like Richie Williams, but with more ability to finish around the basket. Hopefully, LBF can be that guy!

I think DJ Gay will eventually become the 6th man ala John Sharper, with LBF and Tapley/Rahon as the starters. The competition will be good and you certainly can't count out DJ, he does have experience and a ton of heart.

I like our big men too, should be a terrific season.
