Blame Bluto for scheduling this game and then leaving.

Minnesota lost last year to SOUTH Dakota in their brand spanking new stadium. If I was a Minnesota grad, I would be irate right now. Temple was built the right way by Golden. I'm not sure exactly what you mean and with due respect, I don't think Temple under Golden is analogous to anybody else. First, Golden had the advantage of having taken over at Temple just a year after they got kicked out of the Big East. I think he's probably a very good coach but I also think anybody could have improved Temple's record significantly after it dropped down to the MAC. Second, Golden had the additional advantage of not having to try to recruit to Temple's on-campus dump of a stadium but rather to Lincoln Financial Field, which the Owls then shared with the Eagles. Unless UNLV finally builds an on-campus stadium and Bobby Hauck is still around, he will have no such advantages.

It was not analogous or even tangential to UNLV. Just that Golden built the program the right way and that is why even without him today, they are carrying forward.

Ronnie Hillman comes back for a junior year. You hope! I wish I were confident about that. AzWm

Ronnie Hillman comes back for a junior year. Yes, if Hillman had any thoughts of leaving SDSU, after this year he had better forget about it. He's not quite ready for Sundays yet. That's what we said about Slaughter and, if I'm not mistaken, about Leonard as well. We know what happened with them. AzWm

here's my positive: they have a week without a game to drive the sled and run wind sprints.

We get a bye next week and extra week to prepare for TCU. Not sure if this extra week will be good or bad.

Joe Buck is leaving the announcer booth because of Auto-tune. ;D I mean how many times did they have to play that commercial? Man you gave me a good laugh. I was thinking the same thing during the game. Damn, how many times? At least 15...

I won't be watching any more crappy btn broadcasts and listening to their commentators.

1) Coach FIN and OL know exactly what they need to do to improve and dominate going forward. OL play will be key going forward; I would call out coach Fin if OL don't improve. 2)The Entire offense needs to find what they need to improve on and take a step forward; 3) Stupid media, trying to make a story out of the defensive signal changes, what else can they say; 4) Good to find out your weaknesses early in the season. 5)Defense playing tough and good to see! Go STATE...walkonfan... +1 Yup Take this loss as a barometer to where your program is and make fixes. Take your knocks and apply what you've learned. Keep improving, address the flaws, build on mistakes made. To be the best, you play the best. That's how you get better, losing is part of learning to be good. Oldie Out

I'm surprised that no one mentioned this about our best RB.
Hillman DID run for 109 yds. Their big "D "could not prevent him from going over 100 yds!
Both WR's each grabbed 7 catches. I believe it was the most for each!
Michigan only scored 1 TD in the second half after getting 3 in the first half.(same as us in the second!)
Robinson was held to 61 yds. in the second half.
We had 3 turnovers in the fourth quarter!

Sorry, someone did mention Hillman's yards, but it was worth a repeat! We also learned some valuable lessons that will help us beat TCU when they come to town in 2 weeks!

Rocky even said that he called for the "D" to play too aggressive in the first half, so he had them back off a little in the second. We learned, and hat helped. We learned that it will take some more and better recruiting of OL, and DL players to compete better with the BCS schools. Having only been on the winning side of things for about a year, we are still learning how to play in big games on the road. It will come.

I agree with all your points. especially the larger defensive linemen. One thing that surprised me most was how much our team is still affected by playing the schools such as Michigan. Yes, Denard is a great college Runningback, and he made some great plays for his team. what I want to know is why/how did our Offense play so horribly. Yes, Michigan's defense put pressure on Lindley, but he was only sacked once. There were tons of plays to be made on that field by our Aztecs, and they just seemed to wilt. I feel that it was one of the games where everything that could go wrong does go wrong, and that is the coaches fault. time will tell.
