On ScoutSDSU.com, there's a story link saying "Centennial Linebacker pledges to Sun Devils". However when I clicked on it, the result was "This Story Is No Longer Available"

Seems a mixup. His coach thought ASU offered but they didn't. His friends thought they offered and said he was a committ, but no offer came. I don't know if grade risk, but he does comment that he needs to work on his gpa and sat/act....don't they all!!!
Welcome aboard Jebron. Take care of business.

Academics- if the guy can't qualify to ASU (didn't know they was even a possibility-thought any Monkey could walk in to that school) no way does he qualify at SDSU.

He would be our second 5.6+ verbal according to Rivals. 5.7 Chad Jeffries QB 5.6 Jebron Harrington LB Last year we had 3 HS 5.6+ recruits. 5.6 Zack Dilley OL 5.6 Adam Muema RB 5.6 Dontrell Onuahu DT Last year we had 2 JC 5.6+ recruits.5.8 Perry Jackson DE (JC) 5.7 Juan Bolanos OL (JC) The first 5.6+ player we got last year was in September and the second was in December. We are ahead of schedule.

I was thinking the same thing. Not the biggest nor the fastest on the field but extremely productive. I'll take hustle over muscle any day. Oldie Out

Sounds like he is on very shaky ground in terms of academics. I suppose that the coaching staff will know how the grades and test scores come out ahead of signing day. At that point if he hasn't qualified it would probably behoove both parties to cut ties.

Ezell Ruffin wasn't getting many looks from D1 programs last year because of academics, but I think most on here are pretty excited that Hoke & Co stuck it out and signed him.
