Ezell Ruffin wasn't getting many looks from D1 programs last year because of academics, but I think most on here are pretty excited that Hoke & Co stuck it out and signed him. I wonder if these two guys are a sign that the Hillman situation may have helped Hoke get some more pull with admissions in allowing some of these guys with questionable academics into school. |

That's a good point. I think the economy just might be forcing Weber's hand. He is(was) stubborn about maintaining academic standards across the board. Nothing wrong with that, but Hoke does need to win. |
