Beth gets a lot of transfers. Do you think it is safer to take a transfer knowing how they played at DI over the risk of a high school kid? or may be it is still hard to beat out the big schools for good talent, but we get good talent on the rebound.
Don by taking transfers had a hungry group of plays who only had 2 years to get it done. There is a long of focus and experience. Look at it this way. The good part was half the team were seniors. The bad news was a bad year of recruiting wipes you out foe 2 years.

it is difficult to get a 4.7 gpa. She really did her homework.
I wonder why she is leaving DUKE?

Having 15 scholarships instead of 13 and having a smaller pool to chose from means women's teams have a bigger difference in quality. That is why a UConn can be so much better than their opponents, that is why #12 seeds rarely beat #5 seeds, that is why the Aztecs women can become totally dominant in the MWC. Not just the best team but a 19-0 type team every year. IT WILL HAPPEN. It is something the men can not attain on a regular basis. The women can. It is built into the system.

PG for the Aztecs. Coco Davis is a senior this year. The Aztecs have a junior that is a JC transfer (2nd Team All American). Next year the JC player will be a Senior and the Duke Transfer will be a junior. We are set for a few years at PG.

it is difficult to get a 4.7 gpa. She really did her homework. I wonder why she is leaving DUKE? She wants to play more and scores more points! www.wralsportsfan.com/duke/story/7934041/Rising junior Chelsea Hopkins has announced she will not return to the Duke women’s basketball program and will transfer to San Diego State. Hopkins played in 46 games for the Blue Devils over the past two injury-plagued years, averaging just more than one point per contest her sophomore year. “These last two years at Duke have been a great experience,” said Hopkins. “I would like to thank my teammates, coaches and everyone else in the Blue Devil program for making it such a wonderful time. I just think I will be able to maximize my potential at San Diego State to close out my career.”

Ashley Duffy is transferring. I confirmed this through a good source. She is probably going to Chico State.

What a great get for the women's program! I have said this before, that Beth is probably the best coach on campus right now.

REALITY CHECK! This gal only averaged a bucket or less the last couple years and has been very banged up. I hope she does not think it will be easier to get time here because we are quickly becoming a "Duke-level" program. We are Sweet 16 to Elite 8 range all the way from here on out with NO turning back. Best of luck to her as I have total faith in Beth. She is on a big roll!!!
