We won't play James Madison because they are hosting the other side, James Madison is in Virginia (I think central/eastern Va somewhat near Washington and Lee/ VMI) so if I had to guess, I'd say "
James Madison, Presbyterian, Princenton and Bucknell will play eachother
Miami of ohio SDSU Wisconsin Green Bay and IUPUI.
And the only one traveling is, SDSU.

The way I'm seeing this is that it isn't really a "tournament" at all for the Aztecs. We play Gonzaga and that is it even if we beat them. It is just a way to get a few extra games in for the big four here and then they'll only be counted as one game towards the maximum.
I guess it works out good for the other schools since we all get to play a big named opponent. But calling this a tournament is very misleading.

Yea, it is sort of like the thing we played in last year where that was round robin and no real championship, and then this thing has a couple preliminary games before the big 4 playoff and the also rans which I guess we are play a 3 game round robin. I think I remember that these type of things are 4 games that count as 2 - is that right?

Not sure if there's a maximum number of tourney games allowed.

I ask because it seemed they were always 3 game tourneys when there were just a few of them, now there are seemingly thousands of them and most of them have gone to 4 games and I thought I recalled when they opened up more of them and playing every year it went to 4 for 2, but I may be wrong.

Finally playing Gonzaga. How many recall if we had survived the Hosiers in our first round NCAA game a few years ago, Adam Morrison and the Zags were waiting for us in Round 2? I do... Damn late turnovers! As an alum of both schools, I still have to pull the Aztecs!

What teams from back east would not want to come out to San Diego for a couple days in November. This has cluster f#ck written all over it!

Hey, we have been hallerin' for years for a tough schedule like this! Now we got one so quit complaining babies!!! I love it that we play Gonzaga! It is not the tough schedule, it is giving up 3 games and being grouped with a bunch of middle of the road conferences in bleedin' Ohio, while also going on the road to play one team. You're telling me we couldn't play on the road against any of the other 20-30 big time college programs without having to go to Ohio to play 3 smaller conference teams? We are clearly and hands down the 5th best team and program in that list and we are the only one traveling. Basically, we degraded ourselves here and put ourselves in a tough predicament. We better be getting a fatty paycheck, otherwise we might be chasing as the season progresses.

If true, looks like they're ducking us after that a$$ beating we gave them last year and the fact we will be better this year. Future SO CAL recruits might take notice if we beat them again.

this is the hardest schedule the Aztecs have had in a long time, if not EVER. I hope we havent bitten off more than we can chew. That is a lot of travel in a short time. I am excited, but also wonder if it might have been smarter to back load the schedule somehow instead of jamming a bunch of tough games all up front.
One thing is certain, the Aztecs will need to gel earlier than they have in the past.

Our depth will be tested but we can beat them. Sacre 7'0 250 will be the biggest game changer and is athletic and a great shot blocker, but foul prone. Thomas will struggle defending him and might get into foul trouble too. They also have another 6'11 F coming off the bench and they will probably start 6'11 Kelly Olynyk at the wing, which is going to be tough for White or Leonard to guard.
If we can make shots, attack the rim and get them into foul trouble, ... we got this one. One of the big men off the bench (Carlwell, Shelton, Cheriet) will have to come up big for us to win.
