Potential dilemma for AZTEC fans, if pac12 "hoses" wazzu & beavs out of regular SoCal games through scheduling should we take the bait from wazzu & schedule home & homes with them to allow them to make trips to San Diego & wave their flags in Qualcomm?? I say no, the hell with them!

I say yes and kick their sorry asses. It's only a good recruiting exposure for them if they win. I'm willing to take that chance.

Makes sense for OSU and WSU to play at the 'Q'. Makes more sense for SDSU to play them especially with 50,000 fans in the seats and a good chance for "W".

Take on any one. Can't grow the program with beating the big boys. If Boise can do it so can we. The SD's old team would want to beat us. Get them locked up before we get good and no one will want to play us. If you were USC would you not want to schedule down for a few years?

We already sked to play Oregon state in a couple years.. home and there I think. Can't wait to see our boys in Corvallis!!! (Just a two hour drive from me, finally)

Play 'em! We have more in common with them than Nicholls St., Utah St. and New Mexico St. We are both schools working on the financial outskirts of collegiate athletics, we both draw poorly, we both have bad football records and on and on. The only difference is we have better weather than they do, but they produce great cheese in their dairy school.

PS--Oh, and plus I like the concept of the banned terms: Wazzu (banned) vs Monty (banned).

it was interesting to hear the president of the Padres mention on the radio ,how much he likes Brady H and SDSU, he would like to see if they could configure Petco for a football game or Bowl game. Might take some reconstruction but they would like to look at it

Excuse me? Where did you hear this? This deserves its own thread. Considering how many people the last couple of years are choosing OSU and WSU over SDSU yes if they want home and homes you obviously do it

Mike Bohn said he was assured that Colorado would be in the South division. If CU is going to be in the South, you have to think Utah will be too. That's not good for the Utes. Being in the North would have given them a sure win every year against pathetically bad WSU so they'll lose that opportunity. Plus they're going to be competing directly against U$C every year and will have to make a trip to play one of the Arizona schools every year in the desert. Any such games in September or early October could be rough for the Utes.

Utes? Who are they? Sounds like somebody else's problem. True. Still, it would make my football season if we could manage to beat them on Nov. 20.

If there was a way to configure Petco for football that makes sense it would really help increase attendance.

Why not schedule them. They are BCS schools, and OSU has done well lately.
In fact, we have a 2-1 record versus them, and I believe we would beat WSU next time we
play them. Have to start somewhere.

Petco Park should be considered, if at all, as a last resort. A last resort similar to jumping out of a burning plane with an umbrella instead of staying with the plane or jumping with nothing but a smile.

the President of the Padres was on 1090 radio Friday morning , saying how much he liked Brady and they were looking into seeing if they could configure Petco into a football stadium for 1 game if it could help SDSU , may not be this year but were exploring the options
