I've been meaning to write something about that on Yelp.It was really a slap in the face to the Aztec fans that were there.I love the bar and all because it's a great bar,but that really was a horrible call on the part of management at the time. One could tell by the cheers and noise that there were as much,if not MORE,Aztec fans at the time, and yet this got by the guy controlling the sound. Overall, the staff there is really nice. Of all the bars in North Park, they probably have to put up with the most crap from crappy customers. I've been in there for a couple of Charger games and a handful of weekday happy hours and it's been cool. I've also been in there for a handful of Thurs-Sat nights and there are more swordfights in there than a fencing tournament. Plus they stopped carrying Olympia. True North daytime = cool (especally the patio) True North nighttime = not my cup of tea but they do great business at night so good on them

Does anyone know if AAG will do happy during the game as they did the past?

Just spoke to the owner and reserved a table. He said they are filling up fast. I highly suggest you call immediately to get a table in the Aztec section. I know he is doing beer specials...

Tried calling AAG this morning to reserve a table.. There was no answer. I called again and tried getting a table and the best I could do was no view of big screen. This place is going to be packed. I called OGGIS in Mission Valley and they have lots of big screens. Looks that is where I am heading. They will have the volume up for the game. If AAG is too crowded, maybe try Oggis.

even if you can't see the big screen well at AAG, the other tvs are excellent and the sound will be up high....great food, fun atmosphere....i can't believe how many people are going to be watching this game tonight....the rating will be off the charts probably.

My buddies and I decided, Tilted Kilt it is. Hope to see a bunch of other Aztec fans there!

can't beat the scenery at the TK, but not sure you will hear the sound loud and clear...that's always my objection to most sport's bars.

There were over 200 Aztec fans at the OC watch party last night. Good turnout.

My buddies and I decided, Tilted Kilt it is. Hope to see a bunch of other Aztec fans there! We were at The Tilted Kilt also. They really threw out the red carpet for this event, replete with red and black balloons along the entrance and radio personalities 1090's Scott and BR among those attending, who we happen to be seated right next to.Fun night being around so many Aztec fans. This place has definitely stepped up every time we been there for Aztec events,be it watching Strasberg pitch,or the game last night, etc. They definitely have their finger on this city's Aztec pulse.

I was thinking we need to debrief and rate all the locations that we had Aztec fans watching this game. We should find out if there were drink specials, were there red and black colors, did they have sound, did they play sound during pre-game/post-game? parking, food, etc. Some places are a sports bar first and are easier to work with as opposed to a bar that happens to have TV's. BTW, CH 4 had a pregame and postgame show.
