This illustrates how weak your position is. Again with Trump? This is Biden’s mess. You’re barely worth responding to. Also, Biden told Israel not to take any action vs Iran. They did it anyway. Biden is not respected, because he is a senile old man. Not good for our country if our leader doesn’t command respect. That leads to instability and war……Biden is funding two of them. Haha "senile". trump looks like he is going to crack any time now...and be institutionalized.

Correct. If I take a hundred dollars from you and then return it, that doesn't mean I'm paying you. Yes, but if you use that hundred dollars to buy a pistol and henchmen, go out and murder and rape people you don’t like, you deserve to be thrown in jail. www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/03/13/donald-trumps-worst-dealHuh, imagine that. Trump hotel fronting money for the same IRGC.

You can't. You have nothing but propaganda to draw off of. So...not interested. They had the money to buy weapons for their Hezbollah allies, who in turn MURDERED HUNDREDS OF JEWS. That is the evidence.

Your hypocrisy is evident, and if destroys any kind of useful discussion here. You want to hold this administration accountable, yet not a word on funding terrorism when it comes to anyone else.

Under Trump, when they didn’t have billions of dollars, there were no mass murdering of hundreds of innocent Jewish people. So, under Trump. Zero massacres. Under Biden, every Israeli citizen is under threat of being exterminated. How does it feel to have your opinions align with murderers? Are you proud?

My "opinions" don't align with "murderers." They align with an objective reality you're incapable of even trying to get to. "The (Abraham) accords were perhaps Trump’s signature foreign policy achievement. Yet the diplomatic process they set in motion — especially the prospect of Saudi participation — contributed to Palestinian alienation that hastened the attack by Hamas, say current and former American, Israeli and Arab officials. And the attack, in turn, is now testing whether normal Israeli-Arab relations can hold." Again, history matters.

Iran has had pretty high education levels in some sectors historically. The doctor who just did my wife's foot surgery at Sharp is from Iran, and just went back there last month for a week because his father died. An Iranian family lives 5 houses from me, and they have done pretty well for themselves. "9th Century inbred bums"...really? You underestimate. Of course the maga inability to use critical thinking skills may be the cause. Perhaps we should all grab popcorn and watch you and your polar opposite on this topic (sdsuball) go at it. He thinks it would be a great idea for Iran to bomb Isreal.... carry on.

I lay this at the feet of the Biden Administration because their lack of coherent leadership has had a destabilizing impact on the region. Granted, the Levant is a crossroads of three continents and ownership of this region has been disputed for thousands of years, but the last few years (Under Obama and Trump) at least things were relatively stable. That is now out the window, under Biden’s watch. Maybe it’s not entirely his fault, the area does have a tendency to sporadically erupt into violence regardless who is president. Kind of like earthquakes, the tension builds over time and eventually gets released. Ok, fine you disavow Hamas, perhaps your posts should reflect that more. You tend to cross over the line of “devil’s advocate” in your arguments, so you must forgive me if I misinterpreted your true meaning. As far as “inbred bums in dirty nightshirts” goes, that’s who I see as running Iran. The fundamentalists are tough, ruthless and focused on their goals, dangerous opponents to Israel. If rest of Iran doesn’t like the way these guys run things they need to rise up a take back their country.

If rest of Iran doesn’t like the way these guys run things they need to rise up a take back their country. Perhaps you need to look at it from their perspective. Western governments establish a new country where an entire group of people (Palestinians) are subjugated, evicted from their land, forced to move to shittier unimproved land, shot at, starved, and blockaded so they can't leave. Western governments fund this new country giving it modern weaponry, the best weaponry in the world actually. Imagine if Iran captured a portion of Mexico, say the southern part of it, and established a new government there. Did all the crap that Israel did to the Mexican people living there. Then funded this new government and gave it a shitload of modern weapons. How do you think that the US would feel about that?

And you wonder why you don't get the benefit of tbe doubt.... So, you are ok with the antisemitism these groups support? The terrorist leaders have certainly recognized these protesters as supportive and sympathetic with their cause. The same terrorists who murder innocent civilians, pregnant women, little girls. Have you ever gone to a hypnotist show? I’ll bet you are the first person to be put into a trance by Marvin the Mezmorizing. You seem very susceptible to buy into terrorism propaganda.

Nowhere did I say anything about my stance whatsoever. You want to make this a spectacle about "George Soros" and the "Dems" while I just want you to be intellectually honest without throwing out a horseshit, jaded, biased and not disgusting set of sentences. The fact you had to throw in "The 2020 protesters" is proof you aren't seeking clarity, you just want to be a divisive individual. For the sake of your own knowledge: Those 2020 protesters were combating systemic injustice on the criminal justice system, a very real and very serious set of circumstances.

Israel Working to Block Feared ICC Arrest Warrants Against PM, Others Over Gaza War"The ICJ, also known as the World Court, is a UN court that deals with disputes between states, while the ICC is a treaty-based criminal court focusing on individual criminal responsibility for war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide." "Israel is making a concerted effort to head off feared plans by the International Criminal Court to issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top Israeli officials, an Israeli government source told The Times of Israel on Sunday." "The first source said the major focus of the feared ICC allegations will be that Israel “deliberately starved Palestinians in Gaza.” "Writing for the Walla news site, analyst Ben Caspit said Netanyahu was “under unusual stress” over the prospect of an arrest warrant against him and other Israelis by the United Nations tribunal in The Hague, which would constitute a major deterioration in Israel’s international status." www.timesofisrael.com/israel-working-to-block-feared-icc-arrest-warrants-against-pm-others-over-gaza-war/

Hamas is now on the ropes and offering a ceasefire. Israel is now weighing its options, but appears to be leaning towards a break in hostilities.
Israel seems close to a decisive victory, any ceasefire will mean their enemies will be given time to regroup and attack later. Hamas never lives up to their promises….the Israeli government would be suckers to accept anything less than unconditional surrender.

According to reports, Israel rejected the calls for a ceasefire. Actually the attacks on October 6th were a breaking of a previous ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli government wasn’t happy with the hostage concessions, so they are back with another offensive.

Outstanding editorial piece by Palestinian-American Mo Husseini that EVERYONE should read, regardless of your feelings about this war and/or who you side with. I have cut/pasted some $-quotes: mo-husseini.medium.com/hmmm-do-i-need-a-title-129b27bed5f0Hamas is fu(k!ng awful.Whatever you may feel about legitimate resistance to occupation, there is no legitimate attacking of civilians. Period. 10/7 was a war crime and most of Hamas’ operations are also war crimes. Hamas deserves destruction and their impact on the Palestinian struggle for self-determination was corrosive and its effects will echo for years. Let us be clear though on the fact that Hamas has been supported as a foil to the PA by multiple Israeli governments. Israel’s actions in Gaza are disproportionate. While Israel has the right (and responsibility) to go after Hamas, it is my belief that there were other ways to do this. Israel is a world-class military power that has shown (time and again) that it has both the intelligence and the technology to do targeted strikes. It is abundantly clear, both in word and deed, that the Gaza operation is retributive and punitive, and that war crimes are being committed. The US government has been an impotent actor in this mess.We have been played by Bibi at every turn and have, time and time again, protected Israel’s interests, well beyond any reasonable measure. Honestly, it’s embarrassing to me as an American to see us engaging like we have no influence. ‘But Israel’s a sovereign country,’ you might say. Please, let’s not be performatively obtuse. We tell people what we expect them to do all the time. That is how the Pax Americana works. Israel is a freer country than many Arab states, but it is not a liberal Western democracy.Israeli culture has a lot of nasty f****d up racist $#!+ in it and while their right-wing government may well be an aberration of their goofy electoral system, it’s not unrepresentative of the public mood which is colored by decades of fighting and grievance with the Palestinians. The Palestinian Authority is a F'D up, foundationally corrupt, and deeply broken Bantustan that has little if any resonance with the people it ostensibly represents. It’s a kakistocracy of the highest order and Palestinian culture also has a lot of nasty f****d up antisemitic $#!+ in it.Much like Israeli culture, there is little mandate for peace, an attitude colored by decades of fighting and grievance with the Israelis. NEITHER SIDE WANTS TO NEGOTIATE.Not really. I know it sounds super-unintuitive but it’s true. Neither side wants to negotiate because that’s something that will mean they have to (a) acknowledge the other’s right to exist, and (b) lose the possibility of achieving their maximalist goals. Much easier instead, to argue and bicker and deny the validity of the other and maintain some kind of low simmer of conflict. This has been Bibi’s goal for decades… he has openly run on killing Oslo, on preventing the formation of a Palestinian state. Ironically, this is Hamas’ goal also. They do not WANT peace either. To my mind, the ONE tiny, barely visible on an electron microscope, miniature f****** scintilla of good that came out of 10/7 is the sense of acknowledgement that this is not sustainable… that this cannot keep going on and on from generation to generation. We have, both Palestinians and Israelis, been betrayed by our leaders.
