UNLV seems to be imploding again. Last few years they have had a lot of players transferring out and in. The Rebs have lost 3 in 24 hours: Keyshawn Hall 6'8, Victor Iwuakor 6'7 & starter Keshon Gilbert 6'4, who is from Las Vegas. BTW, Emmanuel Kauc transferred out of UNM today, he hasn't played due to injury much in the last 2 years.

I did like watching Gilbert when he played against us. I'm hoping we can get some transfers this year. We need to fill the void for Mensha, Seiko and AG. We will need a rim protector and someone to intimidate around the basket.

Keshon Gilbert: Good size for a guard. How is his defense?

Keshon Gilbert: Good size for a guard. How is his defense? I don't think he fits the Aztec profile. He got suspended this season for a game because he head-butted Tre Coleman during a game.

Dusell would interest me more than Gilbert, he could fill a roll as a bench shooter and help the depth

684 in the portal now, that number should triple by June.

IF Ledee , Elijah and Keshad all or even 2 of the 3 are playing for the Aztecs
with Nathan leaving and AG - leaving only Heide and Shay at the 5 - yes Ledee can also play the 5 but would guess he prefers the 4 , the area that needs experienced assistance

John Tonje from Colorado State is in the portal. 6’5 guard who averaged 14.6 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 38.9% from 3 and 81.5% from the line. He attempted more free throws than anyone on our team.

Saw where Ike Graham just entered the portal. What the hell is going on in Laramie?

think there was a rule against before the Portal came to life - and now do not think there is a rule against having someone transferring within the conference
As for Wyoming it has been a difficult place for coaches to be able to recruit to - that is why the current coach has been seen as a miracle worker -
So would hope he is looking for a new position or enjoys bringing in a new squad and even an assistant coach

Ex-Aztec recruit Lawson Lovering in the portal, 7'1" 225 Sophomore from Wyoming, who was playing for Colorado. Started 34 games for the Buffs, 4.9 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 1.0 BPG shooting 55% from the field. Slow start to his college career, finished this season stronger in PAC 12 games (2nd half)

Saw where Ike Graham just entered the portal. What the hell is going on in Laramie? Here's a short article on Ike and other MWC Transfers, from sports writer Chris Murray in Reno.

4-star Pacific Prep, Compton Magic and Stanford PG Isa Silva in the portal at 6'4 180 lbs. He had over 20+ offers from a 'whose who' in college basketball, but a disappointing two years at Stanford.

Jake Heidbreder from AFA has entered the portal. He's their baby-faced assassin and leading scorer. This one is really strange since I thought they had a service commitment and that basketball was just a secondary activity.

Either at the end of the Freshman or Sophmore year. My memory could be out of date though.

Once you start your Junior year, you're committed to at least 5 years of active duty after you graduate. That's the case for all the service academies.

Arizona's Kerr Kriisa is entering the NCAA transfer portal, why would he leave a top 10 program? What do you think he is looking for, he is a 6'3" 190lb Jr from Estonia, and Arizona's starting PG for the last two seasons, playing over 30 minutes a game.
