I have to post something from another poster in a thread that got shut down because I asked, "who are the unclean?" Interesting that I get a 33% ban rating for merely posting a picture meme showing where I think we're headed and this guy can post actual hate speech. [a href="http:// "] Once again you go to a place that is offensive and extreme. So everyone knows - I warned Den60 that a repeat of comparisons to the Nazis extermination of the Jews to the government's handling of COVID was offensive to a lot of people, and to NOT have a repeat performance. He ignored that and instead posted what we see above. Have a nice vacation. Let's not have anyone else go there, please. So...after he gets "vacationed", he goes on Facebook to complain about this site--and proceeds to do the exact same thing on FB as he was doing on this site.

Hopefully this poll is not accurate. But like I said earlier, I worry about the response to Covid a lot more than I worry about Covid, because sacred people do scary things. www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/partner_surveys/jan_2022/covid_19_democratic_voters_support_harsh_measures_against_unvaccinated"Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. Only 27% of all voters – including just 14% of Republicans and 18% of unaffiliated voters – favor criminal punishment of vaccine critics." "Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a policy would be opposed by a strong majority (71%) of all voters, with 78% of Republicans and 64% of unaffiliated voters saying they would Strongly Oppose putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities.”

People get paranoid because scared people answer questions in the ways that the pollsters hope they will to bring attention to their polls. It's much ado about nothing.

If I could find a good gif of someone going down a waterpark slide, drunk and carefree, but the end of the slide is lava… that would be my response to what you just psotted. Can’t find the right gif tho.

See, here's the thing - being that we actually have a constitution, which is the highest law in the land, and it directly prohibits the stuff that people like those in that poll are afraid of, there would be no slide. Those things are literally impossible thanks to the Constitution, but that doesn't stop some people from whipping up fear and distrust. And that's really kind of sick. People who know better, still making wild ass claims of how this is a slippery slope into becoming Nazi Germany. PUH-LEEEZE. Germany didn't have the same kind of constitution in place that we've had, so they didn't have the roadblocks into fascism that we do.

Aztec Panther I hope you are right. But I think everyone should be concerned about what they are seeing and hearing.

Aztec Panther I hope you are right. But I think everyone should be concerned about what they are seeing and hearing. I don't care about stupid polls that are worded to get the worst possible results and scare people. Especially when the restults aren't even remotely possible under the Constitution. In this case, we really do have nothing to fear but fear itself - uless there's a coup!

You don't say ! I guess my Mom lived for 3 years in a struck down and disallowed figment of her imagination I didn't say they struck it down before it happened. It was pretty much unprecedented, and had not yet been challenged in court. When it was challenged, that practice was abolished and a precedent was set. The government can NEVER do anything like that again.

OK. Again, I hope you are right. I'm a little concerned to say the least that a large group of people in our country would be good with putting unvaccinated individuals in camps! I can't even believe that is a thing! And of course, our federal government tried to create a vaccine mandate, while a large portion of of population cheered them on.
Again, keep in mind, any time you hear vaccinated, think "fully vaccinated", that is, boosters for life baby. For you and your kids and your grandkids. It is crazy.

Because even then I though people were a little too enthusiastic about the vax. Little did I know...

Yeah am I going to be considered unvaccinated even though I got the first two shots, tested positive for COVID antibodies in 2020 before even getting vaccinated, and contracted + recovered from COVID over the holidays?
How much is enough for these loons?

Same, vaxed, got Covid (mild case) after Christmas. Different rules for me, I'm not boosted, because science.
*Just to be clear, I'm not anti-vax at all. I'm not anti-booster either. I think getting boosted was the right call for my Mom and brother, but for my adult son and adult daughter? Why? Come on man!

I think getting boosted was the right call for my Mom and brother, but for my adult son and adult daughter? Why? Come on man! I have had the trifecta of shots (2 doses plus boosted). I have been sick 3 times since September--all cold-like symptoms (Covid? No idea, as I didn't get tested). Each time, all symptoms came and went in a week.
