Was he originally on that list? He's a grad transfer that I don't think is initially on scholarship, so maybe he wouldn't be listed anyway? He would be listed with the Ball State transfer. Word on Twitter (nothing remotely official) is that Oregon is pursuing, so I think he's gone.

Spears has been on that transfer list for at least a month, then as of yesterday fis name suddenly disappeared. Reach your own conclusion.

He graduated from USC in 3 years and still has 2 years eligibility? Yup, that's what made him such an attractive get. At least he is still considering SDSU but I get the feeling that there is somewhere else out there that he would rather be. Very disappointing.

Yes, he was previously listed with the TE from Ball State as a transfer.

247Sports said he is no longer planning on transferring to SDSU. As coaches many times say, if he doesn’t want to be an Aztec we don’t want him.
